  1. I took a picture of that map on Saturday, but it certainly got a little more filled up later on! I wrote the "STAFFORD" in big letters in the middle. xD It was above Stoke-on-Trent incorrectly, but I thought that seemed a bit too low down anyway... EDIT: I'm relooking at it now and have just noticed: "Rhys and Andy, the new ship <3)
  2. Silver 035 again (or there abouts), just as I was at the Hub 2 coincidentally! My four friends are Silver too. Think we bought them about midday on Sunday. We went Gold for the first Hub, but without the group photo again we though pah, Silver forever.
  3. DEFINITELY BRING TOM PRICE BACK! He and Kai are the greatest double team this side of the rift! And it was so hard picking a name from the first list. I was going for Eve or Burn, but had to go with James in the end! I do hope Eve and Burn liked us enough last time to come again.

    Heckling

I thought the heckling was kept to a minimum really, I didn't have a problem with it at all... it didn't take up much of the guest's answers as far as I can remember.
  5. I loved Johnkey! I hope John hears of all the antics the other guests got up to in his name. "Goodbye, John Barrowman line!"
  6. Me and my friends were "the Stafford Branch", but for some reason - that I still haven't got a straight answer for - the friend who wrote the questions forgot to put "of Torchwood" at the end of our name! I literally sunk down in my seat when Gareth was like "Stafford branch of what?!" But yep, that was us! My one friend talked to Phil on Saturday night about the Stafford open air Shakespeare festival which he attends every year, and that Kai had starred in one of the productions there several years ago! I thought we were very lucky to get that particular question about him coming back, as it's not something general that the whole panel could answer. We also asked the one to Tom about him playing Fireman Sam, as we think he looks like him! He wrote on my friend's autograph picture "I AM NOT AVAILABLE TO PLAY FIREMAN SAM, SORRY" lol!

    Heckling

When Roderic was talking about his part in 28 Days Later where he was pushed up against a glass window screaming, and the man in front of me called out "Was John Barrowman behind you?" And the Italian woman! That was so funny!

    Feedback

This event was brilliant, thank you so much Showmasters! The timetable was VERY well put together and the information around the venue was clear and well placed, so we had no trouble finding out where we needed to be! And the new bag system was very efficient - I felt much better about leaving my bag for only a moment, and it was much quicker than going back and forth to that room like last year. You should definitely keep that system for all events! The games at the parties were brilliant too - very imaginative and entertaining! The seating at the talks was as fine as always, although I did have a problem with the people that would claim isle seats, pretending anyone from getting up and down the central isle. I get that its the best seating and convenient, but when you're in a group of two or three it's just a bit rude to be so adamant as to not even stand up to let other people in. They're not going to steal your seat the moment you stand up, you know! My friends and me remember from Hub 1 how territorial some people were about staying at the guests' sides, so we didn't even attempt to go near them at any of the parties - we were quite happy to groove away on the dance floor all night! But my English student friend (who is quite shy) had her heart set for weeks on chatting to Phil Ford about writing and generally constructive subjects, and I had to literally push her forward into his midst because so many people just barged right past us and tried to grab the conversation - some people had no shame on Saturday night especially! I left her be with him and she eventually got to talk - one woman was very nice and said "thank you for talking, but this lady has been waiting ages to talk to you!", so whoever that was, thank you very much!, as I think people would've taken advantage of her politeness if you hadn't introduced her! You're an
  9. There were guests at the last Hub that had only been in one or two episodes. James's character was pretty central to the last series, and he was a MASSIVE hit. Don't see why it couldn't be him. I seeeeriously hope it is!
  10. The Ibis was a convenient price and location, but like other people have said - it's not too special. The only problems I had was how small the towels were and that each bed only had one pillow - my neck was killing me after one night! And they claimed not to have any more when I asked. I personally quite liked the breakfast though, as I don't usually have a cooked one anyway. I'd join other people in hunting for a cafe that does a full English, but with the Saturday events probably starting at 8:30am like last time, it's just a time issue...
  11. Okay... HUB 3 is now obscenely tempting. The new venue sounds stunning, but since I live in Stafford I'm only a 30 minute train ride from B'Ham anyway! And you really are torturing us with this super mysterious amazing guest now... I think I may have to consider this!
  12. ...I'm dying to find out who you've booked now! My best guesses are John Barrowman or James Marsters! I wasn't going to go HUB 3 due to money and 3rd year uni issues, but if it's James... well I'll sell my own mother for that. *Prays it's James*
  13. Thank you so much for linking us too these - they bought back a lot of scenarios I'd already forgot! I adore the shots of the parties and everyone in costume, I can't stop smiling now. And the quality is amazing by the way, what camera did you use?
  14. Those are icredibly cute! Kai is so good to his fans! And it's cool to see another Staffs uni girl!! Maybe I'll see you around.
  15. http://www.facebook.com/photo_search.php?o...eid=31784038943 Howdy! The event page for The Hub 2 has been made now for anyone with a Facebook account. Just thought I'd let you know! Edit: Sorry, didn't see someone had already made this topic! Anyone know how I can delete it?
  16. Saves me answering the same thing you asked in your email now Does indeed! I was worried the forum question might not be noticed, so I sent you one just in case. Heh. I've sent you another one now (I'm terribly annoying, aren't I?) to confirm something else! Swear it'll be the last time!
  17. Oh! I had photos of that but they were such poor quality that I deleted them! So sorry! I'm sure there's someone else, as I remember quite a few flashes...
  18. Hehe, I took about 300 photos, but my poor little digital camera wasn't so amazing on optical zoom without flash, so forgive me for the terrible noise in these photos. I didn't manage to get shots of ALL the naughtiness, but here are my personal favourites! (Just say if you want me to take down the ones of the play, or if any are inappropriate. I hope they're okay though - it the guests were comfortable doing them in a room full of cameras, then I don't think anybody else should have too big a problem?) I went crazy at this - Kai & John are my favourite! John's expression: PRICELESS SQUEEEE! Awww. When John pretended to trip up again on stage just after falling down the first time! Hehehe, he was so good to pose for those 30 seconds!
  19. Best way to do this would be one person ordering all four ticket at once. The tickets will have consecutive numbers then and you won't be split. If you find you are across groups. i.e. Group 1 - G1-G30, Group 2 - G31-G60 and you get G29, G30, G31, G32. Do come and see one of us (Me really) and I will sort it out so you can all go in the same group. This goes for anyone. If we can help to make the weekend better we will. If it means moving 1 or 2 people from one group to another I'm happy to do it. Oh thank you, that's very kind! :) My friends and I will be booking now, yay!
  20. Unfortunately I had to leave mid-afternoon on Sunday - when did this stripping down to their undies happen?! Do you have any pictures?!
  21. Myself and my four friends would also DEFINITELY purchase a DVD! There were lots of professional photographers/cameramen wandering around - if we're not going to have a DVD or at least a special web site devoted to them, what was it all for? Pleeeease show us what you films/photographed!!
  22. Thank you for comfirming! This was the main draw for me Gold-ticket-wise, as was the cocktail party (which went badly for me), so I've decided to get a Silver ticket based on this information, as are my friends. I have another query: I'm booking with the same 3/4 friends that I did last time - is there any way I can garentee getting into the same 'group' as them again? Like, 1-50 was group 1, etc... I'd hate to be split up.
  23. Me and my friends saw this happening too. We were under the impression the cocktail party might have been organised a bit more fairly, where people were put into groups and encouraged to STAY PUT rather than discreetly swimming around so as to 'coincidentally' bump into the guests again. My party stayed put and we were kind of annoyed by the amount of people deliberately positioning themselves in the path of John. Being considerate meant me and my friends only got to speak to Kai (he was my favourite though, luckily)! (I'm not saying everyone did this, of course. 80% of the Gold members were wonderful and courteous! )
  24. I know the answer is probably right in front of me, but I'm all excited and out of my mind! Do Gold ticket holders get that big group photo again?
  25. Yay, thanks for letting us know! I'm a bit concerned though - it says Silver is ALREADY out of stock? Is this just an early error or were the sales at The Hub pretty damn good? And Showmasters, could you keep us up to date on how many Gold tickets are left, or how much they're selling? Thank you!
