  1. Well, a train and a coach! It's stupid o'clock, my taxi is almost here to take me to the station. Heading up from Kent to go to my fifth Collectormania. Very excited for this one; some great guests. Hope everyone has a great time and I'm looking forward to making some new friends over the weekend. A special hello to anyone else who's staying at the Jurys Inn tonight! :)
  2. Not bad for some! Bet he's fun to hang out with...tell him I said hi, lol.
  3. I hope you get your chance, DisneyDude. I feel she would be interesting to talk to.
  4. Nancy Allen - Something related to Carrie. I'm hoping she might have some photos on her table. If not she can scribble on my DVD cover or I'll just get a picture of her as herself. Lea Thompson - My Howard The Duck LP single sleeve. It has a kick ass picture of Cherry Bomb on it. Charles Fleischer - Something Roger Rabbit related. Hopefully he'll have some 8x10s. Tawny Cypress - Heroes 8x10. Santiago Cabrera - Heroes 8x10. Natalie Tena - Harry Potter 8x10. Matt Rippey - Torchwood 8x10. John Barrowman - I'm still undecided between his book or something more Torchwood centric.
  5. Did you meet her? If so, what was she like?
  6. Yep. They act like the Nancy results show is live but it's not. Like how they film Jonathan Ross a day or two before it airs.
  7. I think he'll be quite a fast signer. We may be surprised at how many people manage to get through.
  8. At Collectormania they usually take cards. But I find paying by cash is so much easier.
  9. From the way he was very eagerly stuffing his face on This Morning today when they were making ice cream, skipping one lunch might not hurt him!
  10. I just want to second Too Tall's suggestion, it's a really good idea. Saves us the embarrasement of going up to the wrong people by mistake!
  11. I'm going to meet them. I was born in the 80s and they're icons from the decade, especially Lea who was in quite a few memorable 80s cult movies. I want to see Charles for Roger Rabbit and Nightmare On Elm Street. People who've met him before say he's completely nuts so it should be interesting!
  12. Sometimes being a fan of someone takes a bit of dedication. I do movie premieres as well as conventions and have been known to wait over ten hours to see people I like, and in all weathers. It's the price we sometimes have to pay for the chance to get up close to our idols. The good thing about John Barrowman is that he's a very accessible celebrity. If you miss him at this event, there will be others. He's very fan friendly so missing him at one event, while disappointing, wouldn't be the end of the world. But if you really want to see people, sometimes you have to work for it. This can often mean leaving home at Stupid O'Clock, but if you want something badly enough...
  13. I managed to get a last-minute booking for the Jurys just yesterday morning. Surprised there are no more rooms at all left, guess I was lucky.
  14. I'll be going home after the John Barrowman photoshoot. I would have liked to have stayed for Monday too but it just can't be done.
  15. Probably 7am or so for Barrowman. He's going to be a very busy man.
