Definitely LUTON NOT STANSTED. LUTON is junction 10 of the M1 Wembley is literally at the end of the M1 - Its junction 1 and then a short bit round the North Circular. If you are using public transport you would have to use the STANSTED EXPRESS - into Liverpool Street and then the Metropolitan Line to Wembley Park but quite often the STANSTED EXPRESS gets replaced by buses at weekends Just depends on your mode of transport but Luton is definitely closer.

GOOD NEWS Val charged $30 not £30 at the Hollywood and Collector Show and when he did the show in Coventry over here in November he was £20 so I VERY mch doubt he will be £30 at LFCC

Most hotels and motels have a place you can leave your baggage once you've checked out - u can ask them ?? OR .... if you are travelling by train maybe a clever idea is to go to or phone MK station and ask them if they have any lockers.Then you can go from travel inn to station drop your bags and go to MK and collect your bags when you back to the station ?? Just an idea ....

You can get a coach - they either go into London - which you dont want or you can go direct - go to http://www.nationalexpress.com/neh.cfm type in your dates start joutney is STANSTED AIRPORT destination is MILTON KEYNES look for the ones with 0 changes of coach which will take you about 2 1/2 hours. If you have to go into London its a waste of time and energy so go for the direct services, The cost is £22 including insurance for a return journey - but suggest you book online before arriving to make sure you have a definite seat !

Is there any chance you can fly into Luton Aiport instead of Stansted - Luton is much nearer and has a coach service and its only 1/2 hour away ??

Everyone was guessing / assuming the days they would be going. If SM had put on something just for them in say November on a sunday and monday - who would be complaining ?????? If you were intending to go on the friday move it to the monday ... is it that difficult to do ?

What is the difference in taking the friday off of school/work/college and taking the monday off of school/work/college ?? If you cant see the Hobbits saturday or sunday and were going to take friday off .... so now you take monday off ?? I cant see what the difference is ??? Whats the problem ?? Also even if YOU cant take the monday off the people who can and go on the monday mean less people on saturday or sunday so more chance of anyone who cant see them on monday getting the chance to see them ! I think its great of SM to put the monday on for those who can and those who cannot go on the saturday and or sunday !

Was the event in Holland free entry or did you pay door money.The whole point of Collectormania is that it is free admittance.So SM have to make their money back through the autographs and the dealers tables money. Apart from the airfares for the overseas guests they have 1) their transport costs 2) their accomodation and food costs plus on top of that the hire of Middleton Hall which isnt free ! So I would bet the event in Holland you mention had a price to get in.Thats probabaly the same as going to Collectormania by the time you work it all out ! But we still get good value out of SM ! LOOK AT THE NAMES WOO HOO !
