I could have sworn it was on the eve of the 25th birthday - to wit, just before. Umm - Like Q3, correct and not correct. The question was "to be given"... Ellia took the retrovirus first. But Michael was surely the first person to be given the retrovirus. Anyway - that's what (I think) I put on the sheet... Takes pedant's hat off again. Ah yes, the eve of the birthday, I did actually put that on my answers

I actually just want to correct a couple of things lol: The answer to question 12 isn't simply 39, the Milky Way gates have 39 symbols, and the Pegasus gates have 36. With question 14, they did live on the mainland, but then moved sometime later, and then other stuff happens after that which I won't go into detail about as some people reading might not have seen all of Atlantis

Cheesy pop style usually. Blame it on the boogie by Jackson 5, Doctorin the Tardis by the timelords, baby give it up by kc and the sunshine band, cha cha slide by dj casper, steps, queen etc that type of stuff.. The stuff you generally wont admit to liking in public because you'll be ridiculed if its not that rap rubbish. Yep, I agree with your comment on rap being rubbish lol, and that that con music is much better, especially Queen, big fan of them ;-) Though most of their stuff isn't cheesy pop, but quite a bit is rather cheesy I suppose lol

I read it all, can I have a pack of cookies? As for short people not being able to see, well I'm tall and could barely see too, and that was even at being at about the 5th/6th row most of the time, people standing up to take pics in the opening ceremony and I think the 1st talk got extremely annoying as we couldn't see anything with them in the way, and somehow we always managed to be sat behind people who were big, or had big hair lol, the only time I actually got to see properly was at the audition where I managed to get on the 3rd row due to being told we could sit anywhere we liked, but anyway, even us tall people find it hard to see when we're in the standard ticket chairs, so I dread to think what it'd be like at a busier convention, so yes, something needs to be done with the chairs, and a couple of screens would be good too for people further back and unable to see.

I agree, it was a great first convention for me I liked the fact that it wasn't too busy/crowded, sure it would've been great to have more guests but the ones we had were great. I laughed, didn't sing or dance, nor was I a sexually stimulated Carter, but indeed I was shocked at the auction dinner, and I think even "wow" is an understatement lol. Shame Michael couldn't have been there for the audition, would've been great if he and Chris could act out that scene too

Could they not have dedicated the other cancelled guest times to the ones we still had so they had extra time? Would've been nice to see/hear more talks/stage time, but it was still an enjoyable experience in my opinion.

Ok this is my first convention so I can't compare to anyone else I've met, but I agree about Chris and Michael, they were great, really friendly and we spoke for a couple of minutes while getting the photo signed, as was Carmen, he was also great and friendly and were my 3 favourite guests. Gary on the other hand, while he was funny in his talks like the other 3, I felt he could be a little more talkative at the signing like the other guests were. I know what you mean about the "ship em in, ship em out" thing, I would've liked more time to talk to them, but there were a few hundred people to get through, and considering that I think Chris, Michael and Carmen were great for giving the short time they did and be as friendly as they were.

That'd be me and so far I've not won anything, they did say they'd send me something though (Chevron 7.2 tickets would be nice *hint hint* lol ). As for the answers, I've got no idea lol, I've already handed them in (obviously), but maybe the person/people who came up with the quiz can provide them (oh and also it'd be nice to know what the announced mistakes in some of the questions were, I think there were 2 questions that apparantly had something wrong with them, but we were just given question numbers, not what the questions and mistakes were).

Ah I wasn't the only one to notice that then? I didn't think Carmen got enough time to talk in his stage time with Gary, which I felt was a little unfair as Gary had his own stage time straight afterwards, but oh well, suppose it makes up for his lack of talkativeness while signing

Well I suppose on one of the naive newbies as this was my first ever convention and I enjoyed it (for the most part). The talks were great, as were the guests, I think the only way it could've been improved is if there were more guests, and as you said more talks (or at least longer talks, the person introducing them and asking questions seemed like he couldn't wait to end them at times, I know there was a schedule that had to be kept to, but there was also a lot of free time which could've been used for more talks). I was also hoping to see another Q&A at the final talk but the auditions were funny to watch. Ah, well my post was actually meant to be in defense of the convention but I actually ended up complaining too lol. On the whole I did enjoy this convention and as it was small it was probably good for me to ease me into conventions. I loved the talks but did feel they could be longer, and I will most likely be going to Chevron 7.2 too (which I think I should get free tickets to as I won the quiz lol).

I think they're the same 3 I voted for, but if I could have a second choice I'd choose Amanda Tapping, Gary Jones, and Tony Amendola or Lexa Doig, or it might have actually been them I did vote for in which case it'd be Chris Judge, Alexis Cruz and Cliff Simon I'd have as second choices, I just know I wanted all of them and can't remember which ones I actually ended up choosing Oh and David Hewlett and Torri Higginson from Atlantis would be great too
