  1. Hi, I heard his fee was 50k + £8 per auto. Which means break even for SM would be 3000 autos in the 2 days. Cheers, karen
  2. Hi, if rumours are true, SM would need approx 3000 autographs to break even on William Shatners appearance fee (they dont get all the autograph money). I would guess that would be the "aim" figure for the 2 days. Cheers, Karen
  3. Hi, I met Adam West at LFACC 1. It was No Photos (I didnt mind), and the queue was open. As I was walking up to him, he started saying stuff like "Oh, here she comes, wiggling round". Knowing his previous erm, reputation, with the ladies, I walked up to him, waggled my finger and said "Oy, none of that now!" and he turned into an abasged little boy! It was quite sweet. He signed & also personalised my photo. Cheers, Karen
  4. Hi, a shame then that Interpol have attempted to get various governments to act more forcefully on this matter, as for some organisations the trade in copyright piracy is now worth more than supplying marijuana. Obviously you know better than Interpol do. Copyright piracy is also theft, whether it is from a huge film studio or a small software company. Cheers, Karen
  5. Hi, I used to buy pirated videos, but stopped some years ago when I found out that almost all of them fund organised crime (including terrorist organisations). I felt left out that I hadnt seen the "latest film on video", but on the other hand I could sleep at night because my fiver hadnt bought a few bullets. Just my 2ps worth. Cheers, Karen
  6. Hi, I emailed Showmasters twice about dealer tables for this show, but got no reply. I assumed from that they were sold out. Cheers, Karen House Atreides
  7. Hi, I'm a dealer, selling games and cards, and at a games event I returned to the stall to find a bloke looking at quite an expensive 2nd hand game. "Hey", I says, "you can get the box signed if you buy it, cos the artist is Chris Achilleos and he's signing here today" "Yes I know" he replied - "thats me". Cheers, Karen
  8. Hi, As a 40-something year old with a lot of experience of people, I thought the crew at the James Marsters stand were extremely rude. In particular the “gentleman” handing out photographs and the one “organising” the queue. Shouting at customers (please note that when you pay for something you become not just a fan, but a customer as well, with some rights) at inappropriate times, telling people to move this way and that, and generally pushing their weight around. There was a crew member who was trying to “squash up” the Sean Astin queue, which was annoying, but at least he was polite about it. Currently the poll stands at only 73% saying that the crew members were rated “good”. In most industries, if a customer satisfaction rating were that low then the Management would have a heart attack Less than 90% is an extremely poor performance. Those involved should be ashamed of themselves and the way they acted. Remember, this is a vote by the people who hand over the money. Cheers, Karen
