okay just to finish this off, imdb is the best source of its size and can be quoted in university exam papers and essays and such, we were also warned about the descrepancies but found most were minor. universal studios uses imdb as a direct link for info about their films and jaws is a universal film. BUT... in the interest of keeping the peace i will concede that jaws is a horror film to some but not to all. d. p.s. i have seen mike oldfield twice in concert and tubular bells rocks the venue.

well if danny glover can kill a predator then an alien twice its size and speed should be able to. but there are only two choices listed, i would choose a third option. neither of them will win, they'll hunt each other and kill each other and none will be left standing at the end. d.

imdb lists jaws as 'adventure/horror/thriller'. the film is based on the horror novel by peter benchley entitled 'jaws'. i know it doesn't have all the tell tale signs of a horror film, believe me ten years of studying films I KNOW! but never the less it is a horror. d.

i'm not saying that the others aren't annoying, i mean a friend of mine has one of those singing and dancing jar jars and he plays it all the time and after ten times in a row you feel like smashing the thing. but i would sit there and listen to jar jar and the big nosed crooner doing a duet rather than watch jake lloyd. hes just annoying. theres no emotion from him, there are scenes where he is supposed to be happy and scenes where he is supposed to be sad but you don't get those feelings from him, you just get the same flat feeling throughout the film. d.

CSI ROCKS!!! one of the best things to come out of america! could never pick which one i prefer because they both offer so much in the way of stories and characters. d.

i remember ghostwatch, unfortunately my friends and i being the gullible teens we were thought it was real until playground gossip provided us with the truth. my family is filled with stories of the supernatural kind. my grandmother sees and hears things, my mother has had a few encounters in our current house, a small girl praying and a man in a camel coat sitting on the end of her bed. my sisters have both heard noises where there shouldn't have been any, and i have had a couple myself, when i was about 3 my family were all sqeezed into a car (children, parents and grandparents) and as we drove past a farm i told everyone about the farm i used to live on and the horses i used to have, the thing is i have never lived on a farm or ever owned a horse. another time when i was about 6 or 7 i was playing hide and seek in my house and hid upstairs in the corner of my room in the dark facing the door, the room was empty except for myself and no one else came in through the door (nothing weird about that you may be saying to yourself) but i decided to leave the room after a book was thrown at me from inside this dark empty room. chilling stuff in my family. d.

the original childsplay music and the exorcist are my favourites. but i think the music from jaws is probably the most memorable. d.

i have recently seen one of these pirate dvds of ROTK, sometimes you can get a good copy and others a bad one. this copy was the worst i have ever seen mainly because it kept skipping through the film! but if someone offered me a decent copy for a fiver would i buy it? probably. why? you may ask, because it means i get to watch one of my favourite films when i want without having to pay the overpriced cinemas. my friends tell me i would be funding organised crime and terrorism. well yes i would be funding AN organised crime, pirate dvd sellers that effectively evade the police! you would have to be organised to do that. but the supporting of terrorism is only in the most extreme of cases, most of these pirate dvd sellers are saving the money to pay for the rest of their families to come over in hopes of a better life. my friends also tell me that the studios would lose money and have to shut down because of me. very unlikely! i still buy the over priced dvds when they're released anyway. and it would take everyone to stop buying any films released by a studio to put it out of business. anyway enough of my ranting! does anyone know the release dates yet? d. p.s. organised crime funding - tobacco, alcohol, some film studios.
