A huge thank you to all the crew who worked over the weekend. You all rock !! It was a great show, with really very few problems. Thanks to my fellow Pit Bosses - Andrew, Julie, Chris, John, Too Tall, Idris, Nick, Mara and Gemma. As always a pleasure to work alongside you. (I forgot to put this in earlier - shows I should sleep before I post anything! lol) Thank you too to Jason, Andrea, Stuart, Davey, Paul, Steff, James, Ian, Elvis and anybody else at Showmasters Towers. Thank you guys for the Birthday wishes - it's been a bit of a crappy day so I'm gonna celebrate it with you all at Gmex in 2 weeks time.

Well we did keep each other company in the GUnit on the Friday but it would be great to work alongside you as a Pit Boss again.

Thanks to all the crew who worked the Next Wing with me on Sunday. It was a fairly relaxed and easy atmosphere on that wing and you all did your jobs fantastically well. No real problems over the day other than the mix-up with the lunches but that was sorted fairly easily. Thanks too to Julie my fellow Pit Boss of the area, Jules we rule. Thanks to all the crew I worked alongside over the weekend, I had an absolute blast and can't wait for GMex in a few weeks time. Donna

Barman - anything that will knock me out please. It's nearly 1 in the morning I have to be up at 6 for work and can I sleep? Can I hell!! Laid in bed for the last two hours, nothing. I swear tomorrow I'm going to the chemist for Nytol!! I'm tired but brain working a million times an hour, guess I'll have another cigarette and go try again.

I'll have a Red Bull please. I slept lousy last night, wide awake at 3 o'clock!! Back to sleep and awake again at 4, 5, 6, 7 and finally 8 when I gave up and got up to got some Breakfast. I'm totally shattered.

I was in Florida on our way out to the Mall, when we heard it on the radio. By the time we got to the mall they had all the tv's out and we watched the second plane hit the tower. They then decided that the security risk was too high and they evacuated absolutely everywhere, the mall, Disney, Seaworld, Kennedy Space Center etc. We made our way back to our apartment and spent the next two days watching the news like the rest of the world. My friend, although I didn't know it at the time was in New York and had been to the Trade Centre only the day before. I still thank my lucky stars that they didn't go a day later otherwise I could have lost them. Even now five years later I find it very hard and very upsetting to watch what went on that awful day. My heart goes out to all those still affected by this horrendous act of terrorism. It's high time that those responsible are brought to justice.

To be honest I'm hoping it's sooner than that. The event is now only a month away and time off work and train tickets need to be booked. The later I leave the train tickets the more expensive they become. Donna xx And since when have crew found out if they're working or not this early???? LOL It is usually 2-3 weeks before the event. *Grabs a bottle of J20 from the bar* Yeah, Yeah I know - just hoping I suppose.

It must of been the night for works nights out Marina. I went bowling and then clubbing with everybody from work last night and have spent most of the day suffering with the worst hangover ever. My arm aches from the bowling aswell. Just shows you how out of practice I am although as we had 7 lanes for about 20 of us we ended up playing loads of games. Barman, I'll just have a lemonade please.

Yup - Mara and Jo screaming like banshees at the Premiere. If anybody finds it please let me know, I was in Hysterics watching it on GMTV. Donna

I'm a bit better thanks. Have finally stopped throwing up from the food poisoning. I'm loving this weather I just wish I wasn't stuck in work all day. Barman - I'll have a large refreshing Shandy please.

Any Chance of moving our bar to the Beer Garden? With this weather I can't stand being cooped up indoors all day. Time for a nice relaxing evening chilling with you guys.

No - The Hotel was really nice but the meal was Chicken!! None of the kids have gone down as they had a different menu. It's just the adults that are ill. Major complaint going to the hotel about it. So - Showmasters need crew for Milton Keynes huh? Good job I've replied to my crew email, just the nervous wait now to see if we get picked or not. I'm hoping that with it being Number 10 it's going to be something really special.

Hey Guys, Great idea for a virtual Hotel Bar - Can I just have a glass of water please? It was my brothers wedding yesterday and half the wedding party are down with food poisoning including me!! So I'm chilling on the sofa feeling like s**t watching crap on tv. Come on - somebody must have gossip or news? Donna

As has been stated - I paid for a room at the hotel so have a legitamate cause for complaint. Not only did they screw me over on the cost of the room but the room conditions were appalling as well. I have managed to secure a refund out of the hotel for the overcharge of the room but I'm with madmonster* on contacting Health and Safety etc. I've a number of complaints and the complaint can be made in my name as I had a booking there. I would suggest that everybody contact Dawn or myself (SilkValentine@aol.com) and we can take the complaint further. Next Year - I'm booking the Hilton LOL :) Donna

I echo your thanks to Stuart, Jola, Kate, Davey etc all work so hard before the event that I'm surprised they still have the energy to carry on with the weekend. On saying that - without you, Jason and Andrea there wouldn't ever have been a Showmasters for us to crew at. So thank you from me for allowing me the pleasure of helping at some of the most memorable events I have been to in years. I'm sure I speak for most of the crew when I say if we didn't enjoy it we wouldn't be there. As has become a motto over the last couple of shows :- SHOWMASTERS CREW ROCK

Hi Gang, I just want to know who else has ended up with the typical post event cold. I'm shivering, sweating, blocked nose, stuffy head, sore throat and generally feel like crap. I'm also sleeping for England at the minute - good in some ways, as I've come to the conclusion that I'm getting too old for the partying and staying up late. Donna
