Mine said that on my Lucy Davis one but in that case the partial refund was the whole refund.

I've still not had any email confirmation. I did receive my refund for Lucy Davis though. I'm thinking I might have to wait til last as I only booked Meghan about an hour before the cancelation came up.

I had a feeling this might happen when I heard Top Gun 2 was filming at the moment. Hope he can come to another one soon.

Wow, with this con you are really spoiling us. Not hoping for anyone specific. Someone like Winona Ryder or Rose McGowan would top the show off nicely for me though.

Hopefully it'll just be "No posed photos" It's nice when you can at least get pics of people signing at the table and it takes up no time what so ever. At the end of the day it's how the guest and crew feels that'll decide. Will definitely be getting his autograph though, probably join his queue first thing.

I do that too, lol! As if the photographer won't know what I mean, hehe! If you're still at all worried Spookie, take a look though some of the old shoots on here: https://showmasters.photoshelter.com/ While maybe 80-90% are landscape you'll see that there are portrait pics mixed in where either the person asked for that or in some cases the photographer thought it best to take the photo that way (for example a big difference in height).

I often ask for things taken portrait and likely will this weekend. Check with the crew it's ok then when it's your turn to go up quickly mention it to the photographer then say hi to guest/hand shake or whatever and the rest is simple.

I got my email confirming my refund for Lucy Davis' shoot and she was listed as cancelling on Friday so am hoping Meghan's comes through later. If not, then as long as the money comes back that's the main thing.

I was wondering whether it might take longer for my refund as I ordered the photoshoot yesterday morning and she cancelled in the afternoon. As it was the weekend does that mean you may not have taken the payment yet? How would it work if this is the case? Would my payment just be declined and go back into my account?

Unfortunately if you want to get bigger guests to cons it makes cancellations more likely as they are more in demand for their actual job. Still a very strong line up though. Hope this is the last of the cancellations.

Sorry, it’s my fault....I bought a photoshoot with her this morning and jinxed it. Btw, how long to refunds usually take? I also did a pre order for her autograph so I didn’t risk missing out. Would refunds be in time to use the money for another guest or after the event?

Passes don’t have to be collected in the Thursday though? (Just to make sure).

I think it's just not a guest announcement, so it could be related to a guest that's already attending quite easily I think. Not likely to be what I suggested but that was just having a bit of fun. It could be another photoshoot with someone though, or a talk or anything really. Or perhaps a world record attempt at something? They've had them before at past events.

I doubt it's the schedule personally, though I hope that comes out today or tomorrow. A screening of something would be awesome. I'm going to guess that it's a photoshoot with Val Kilmer in his Batman suit!

I wasn't aware there were some that don't do VQs. Do you know which ones? Is there a link? Or is that just something we'd have to wait until the day for?

Hi all, please bare with me as I've been able to come to this event for 2 or 3 years and am not sure what may or may not have changed etc. I bought a gold pass a while back. I gather gold holders still have to pick up a VQ ticket for Diamond guests? Does that mean there's no advantage (over having a regular ticket) with the Diamonds guests? Do the VQ tickets get called later in the day or just at a slower rate from the start (eg 1-200 diamond and 1-50 VQ). I'm likely there for at least two full days but may preorder some guests (such as David Duchovny) if I don't think I'll get to meet them. This will help give me an idea. Cheers, Charmer

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what's the last date for buying entry tickets and photo shoots? I'm hoping to maybe buy a last minute ticket but it depends what that date is as to if I'll be paid in time.

Has anyone seen his play in London? How is he with signing and pics after? Also, what’s the run time of the play?

I've just got a feeling it'll be a director or someone not in front of the camera. I said Lucas earlier but how about Speilberg or Cameron? Ridley Scott? They'd complete quite a few fandom posters.

Has George Lucas done any events before? If not I'd say he fits the clues well. If not then it has to be Harold Bishop or The Chuckle Brothers ;-)
