There's also the Emirates Skyline cable car which runs from outside the o2 Arena to the ExCel. (North Greenwich is the tube stop for the o2.) Cars leave every 30 seconds and take about 5 minutes. I spoke to someone at SeeTickets this afternoon. If you're expecting tickets in the post but they don't arrive in time, they ask that you call them to let them know on Thursday, so they can prepare them for you to collect at the event (like the international orders). I'm sure they can still reissue them without being informed beforehand, but it might take a little longer. When you call, you could ask exactly what you need to collect tickets (ID, emails, whatever), what to do if you're not the card holder, etc, so no nasty surprises on the day. I don't think mine are going to get here in time now (still haven't been posted, and I leave on Thursday) so I'll probably need to do this too.

You could just buy a combadge or similar at the event to wear on the first day with your normal clothes, and then pick up a couple of shirts for the rest of the con. (If you're only attending one day, I guess you could either just wear the combadge or buy a shirt when you arrive at the vendors tables and change in the loos. :))

I would think you'd need to buy a year's subscription to get the goodie bag, just to be clear. I might be wrong, but that's how I understand it.

Hello all! I did a search for this but wasn't able to find the info - will we be able to buy tickets for the Opening Ceremony on the door? Also, for people who have a separate ticket for it (as in, not a Silver/Gold/Plat pass etc), do you get an assigned seat number or is it general admission behind the reserved gold/plat rows? Thanks! :)

Mine was Marina Sirtis at Collectormania GMEX in 2008! She was so lovely. I had my brand new Trek autograph book and she was the first person in it. :)
