Ohhh wow.... we also went to an exit door that we were told couldnt use. the person wasnt rude tho just said to use different exit which we did. i would have certainly had a few choice words if someone had spoke to me as you said they spoke to you. i didnt mind being told I couldnt use the exit and easily.used the next but that eould have been different if the person hadnt done it in a nice manner.

the photos were taken a little closer than normal. That being said my Terence photo is my favourite from this years con and maybe even of all.. i just love it. he was so lovely at both auto and photo a pleasure to meet him.

For diamond guests gold still need VQ for autos...only for dismond guests tho.

Love it when you luck out and get an extra fab photo... my terence stamp one today i was worried just the second after I got it done as I thought i'd made a weird face right at the photo being taken but it is the best photk i have had yet at one of these cons. i love it. even the person behind me as I just got handed my photo even commented it was a great photo. made me beam all day thinking about it :)

I said to my husband we would take hid photo from friday and go to the desk and enquore about refund or possible re take and he said he didnt want a refund he wanted his photo so I let him be lol its his money. :)

ahahaha have toyed with the idea.... in a vrazy way it seems fun :)

i think VQs for just diamond guests is reasonable for a gold pass providing the entry times are adheared to for both gold and GA :)

the bag check was literally just as you entered the main door of the gold entrance side into the forst foyer section i think it would be described as.

yes you are right not that we werent in at the correct time but that GA was letcin early.

I was in that area about 40 mins before this was scheduled and the crew in that area didnt kniw anything about it. the crew guy was speaking to another couple who were asking about the group shoot and he said he didnt know. i excused myself into the convo explaining it was cancelled (the group) and showed the crew member this. He then took my phone so he could shout it out to the few other people who had walked up re the group shoot and thanked me for letting him see this. I even got told I should be crew by a few people in the area i helped while he was distracted sorting that out lol

My husband and me were at the front of gold queue so pretty much first in when gold let in around 8.55 and GA were already in as we were halfway to stairs. As early entry is a selling point it should happen and when it does doesnt mean GA should be let.in at same early time or means Gold arent getting in early. I do agree tho the behaviour would be both gold and GA i would never say otherwide.

Agreed QS was worrying. never seen it like that. we got a VQ for Kevin Smith (only one we needed thankfully) and my husband said lets get out of this area as it could turn bad and he was worried for me. thankfully it didnt on this occassion.

Thanks for your efforts QS.. we know you arent even at the con and appreciate you passing this on. but I do echo the above it was getting to dangerous stage with shoving and major pushing at the main guest signing areas with people trying to get VQs.

Thought so.... as I say i am cool with that and most will be too if it means we can collect on a Thursday :)

what I found was with diamond guests all diamonds were being called forward at one time.... i thought they were called in groups of 20 or even up to 1-50 then 50-100 and so on..... 1 diamond shoot i went to did do this but why no consistency between shoot areas/ guests type.

we got ours without queuing but it was well into afternoon we went and got them :)

Something I not long realised.... why were we not given the landyards and the merch relevant to DP purchase when DP collected on thursday? basically was only the DP card.... only realised and went and got the mug etc but if some1 else in wil wheaton queue hadnt asked me i wouldnt have realised and gone. dont get me wrong if its just due to volunteer numbers on the thursday I would still rather puck up passes thursday minus merch. :) just wondering.

i think if you check DP cover more than autos and does me less time in queues etc.... your point isnt really valid.

they always make it clear its not guaranteed as they dont know how fast/slow guest will sign and they also always say vq most likely at end of day too. how are they being unfair? i dont see it. seems clear to me hiw it works

i dont understand how its unfair... not as if paid for auto and not getting it. we all know with popular busy guests that its a risk not getting diamond pass. sorry if this seems a bit hard but in my opinion its hiw it is. i take a chance with VQ or if I want to be sure to get auto I will grt diamond. Also not all diamond will go on the one day... it covers any day guest there so wont be all going on that same day.

yup it was poor.. GA in at same time which was early for them.. glad I got a lot of my autos yesterday as mayhem trying to get VQs got a VQ for Kevin Smith which was shy of 100 but given we were almost from of gold queue and in pretty much first poor as GA were already there and grabbed low VQs... not cool. we pay for this benefit.... and agree it was dangerous. i dont see how difficult it is to start lettinf each queuw in at the correct times.

yes if its for those get the clwar plastic wallets they are great fornautos and photos and cheap. word of advice only use them for transport and take out once home as they are not acid free. :)

I am sure I seen at least one selling them yesterday while I was looking around. :)
