  1. I've stayed at this hotel a few times. Never heard of them being overbooked before.
  2. It does look fun. My only concern would be will the collection be completed? I've heard of some of these types of things being cancelled before the end due to lack of sales. But it would be a pretty cool thing to make. And it'd be a managable cost by only paying bit by bit.
  3. As in the advert for the magazine thing on the telly? It could be fun but if it's that, then it'll end up costing about £900 :-o
  4. Donald My favourite character is Max Rockatansky from the Mad Max films. Glasgow Film and Comic Con
  5. Saw you walking about yesterday. Awesome costumes! Well done!
  6. All the guests are upstairs. If you head to the right as you enter the main arena. Head towards any set of stairs heading to the exit out to the foyer. Then take a left turn towards the bar and he is just in the corner.
  7. What an absolute gem of a guy. A joy to meet.
  8. No it will not be a mistake. There's no way for SM to plot the photoshoot timetable round indiviudal attendees needs as it just wouldnt happen. Yes, but you can plot the schedule far better than it currently is surely? I mean, prioritising cosplay photos and putting them on at a peak time from 1.15 to 2.45, and thus pushing back 10 photoshoots till after 3pm... in what bizarre world is this fan-friendly scheduling :) You could easily have swapped those shoots around. Push the cosplay till later in the day - it's a GUEST-oriented event after all, not a cosplay focussed event. Last year myself and a friend had to wait for a shoot later in the day, not ideal however we just made the most of the talks etc. I understand how frustrating it is but I'd argue you'd get more autographs signed at peak time (nevermind guests taking lunch breaks etc) than photos done as not as many people would want them.

  10. Why not try a sharpie on a surface of the chair that will be unseen? Then you can take whichever pen works with you to the event.
  11. This will be my 3rd Glasgow Con. Looking forward to meeting Carl Weathers and hopefully get Sean Aston and Ke Huy Quan to sign a Goonies dvd. Also Al Snow should funds allow. Jim Duggan and Ted Disease were fantastic to talk to last year so hopefully more of the same this year.
