Well that's not very smart is it... Annoucing it late at night the day before the event... You do realise people need to budget in advance. You dont just announce the day before and expect everyone to have the funds for it

Hi Guys Due to some big name guests this year like Sean Astin and Peter Mayhew, will SM introduce VQ tickets this year to avoid big queues. I attended Glasgow Comic Con for the first time last year and it was just a case of going to the autograph tables and meeting the guests whenever you wanted with little or no queues so can we assume it will be the same this year? Thanks for any help :) SWC

As I said before, I did have this confirmed to me by a member of Showmasters. At LFCC, I was told by my friend that people were waiting in the queue for Carl with bags of gloves (with the intention of selling them on). Carl became quite angry at this so decided to start charging people extra for gloves. He also insisted on dedicating everything. I don't think he will do the same at Glasgow as it is a much smaller Comic-Con and the prices set for him this year is higher compared to his previous appearance in Glasgow

I would have thought so too. The Price which is advertised is the price you should pay per item but several people have said that he charged more for signing multiple items. I also had that confirmed to me by a member of Showmasters a few days ago...

Really looking forward to meeting Carl W in Glasgow as I am a massive Rocky fan but don't be surprised on the day if he decides to up his prices on multiple items. He hates the thought of people selling his stuff on for profit. This was evident at London Comic Con where he charged people double for having more than one item. Someone on Facebook wanted to get his gloves signed off Carl, He paid the normal price of £40 for a signed glove and was then told by Carl If you want the other one signed You will have to pay £50.... I'm hoping he doesn't do this at Glasgow as I am getting my dad's photo signed as well as my own and I only have a limited budget :)

Just a tip to those who are wanting to get a signed pic off Peter Mayhew at GFCC. Make sure you point to him where you want him to sign otherwise that will happen. I am personally bringing my own blue sharpie to avoid this :)
