Big guest incoming thursday. Hopefully we get a good mix of guests and not just the one big name. I still think they were planning a Doctor Who guest with their last announcement, and they would have been a saturday only, with David Boreanaz being a Sunday guest. So maybe we are getting the announcement now.

Like you, I'm surprised this topic hadn't been set up already. Went to see Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire today, Now whilst I enjoyed it, it just wasn't quite as enjoyable as Afterlife. And dare I say it, James Acaster wasn't actually that bad.
-
Seems that they will be doing this over several sessions over the next few weeks, which makes sense that they wouldnt want to overload him by getting everything done in one session.

Fantom have just tweeted they have completed batch one of their Tom Baker signing. Cant wait to see mine now

It happens, as discussed previously, it took me meeting Mark Striksen three times, before I finally remembered to bring it with me, in my defence for the first time, I'd gotten off a a 12 hour flight the night before, had 5 hours sleep and then had to get from Bedford to Newcastle for a convention. That was a mad 24 hours. Second time, I just plain forgot it, and realised when I was I checked into the hotel, I was too late to go back for it. 3rd time, had a lovely chat with him about it.

I knew you would be excited for her announcement, as we've been mentioning her as a returning hopeful for a while. I'll be looking to get her on a new poster
-
I couldnt check fully either as I was at work, but I suspected as much, the one who I thought had an outside chance was Paul Springer and it wsa a slim chance at that

And to shut the 'it's always Doctor Who guests' moaners up. It's a Star Wars feast instead today

Andd back to London, we have a new gues in Maureen O'Brien

Latest Guest Announcement - BRIAN BLESSED
Mfahey79 replied to showmasters's topic in Collectormania Milton Keynes
If any guest deserves to be announced all in capitals, then it can only be BRIAN BLESSED -
I'm pleasantly surprised, as some of the people they have booked are bigger than I was expecting Brian Blessed (sunday) and Derek Jacobi (Saturday) being the main two. And are clearly the headliners But in day order Friday Rusty Goffe (Robot of Sherwood) Saturday Anita Dobson (The Church on Ruby Road) Derek Jacobi (Utopia) also a diamond pass guest Julian Glover (The Crusade and City of Death Sunday Brian Blessed (Mindwarp & The Ultimate Foe) also a diamond pass guest Colin Baker Sophie Aldred Also doing a photoshoot in costume Tessa Peake Jones (Time of the Doctor)
-
I've already booked my diamond pass for Brian Blessed. Finally going to be at an event where I'm not working.
-
Now in regards to dvd's. I've got my returns back from a recent event. I'm now up to 10 on my Survival dvd, with Wil Barton being added, and rather randomly, I've spotted I dont have Sylvester on it, that will have to be remedied at the earliest opportunity.

She resides in Hong Kong to the best of my knowledge, but she did do Gallifrey one as a sponsored guest of Showmasters, so there is that glimmer of hope they are looking at getting her for more shows
-
I've got got 9 on my copy of The Greatest Show, but all dedicated, so it wont be a replacement, more a chance to have another undedicated to go along side it, and Janet Hargreaves having passed away in 2018, is the main draw. It's one of those things I wish I had known when I started collecting, not to get dedications on items you are getting multiple signatures on
-
Saying that Ricco Ross, does a fair number of conventions in the states it would be nice to get him over this side of the pond
-
Nice score. Especially hardly anything would have been released whilst he was still with us. I've got my eye on a new greatest show in the Galaxy DVD with Janet Hargreaves, Stephen Wyatt and Sylvester McCoy signatures on. All undedicated. Mostly as I dont have Hargreaves ans Wyatt, and whilst mine is pretty full. All mine are dedicated. And most of the ones I have are semi regulars on the circuit so can be added relatively easily, apart from Dean Hollingsworth who I got via a private signing
-
They are still taking orders until early April, so still time unless they sell out
-
I dont trust the press when it comes to news on Doctor Who, unless it comes from an official release. To many rumours, half truths and gossip, just cant be doing with it all
-
You wanted news on the Tom Baker signing, they have just tweeted a picture of a wall of season 15 DVD collections that are arriving in time for his signing.
-
Its once again the papers stirring up a storm to sell copies/advertising. Whilst I dont think she will be in every episode of series 15, she is definatly going to be a big part of it. The same press who said she was a diva, because she didnt enjoy all night filming. The most annoying thing about all this, is no one from the production department or BBC came out to confirm or debunk the rumours. The only one who did way Ncuti, who shared a picture of the two of them with the caption 'My Ruby' It didnt have to be much, just someone coming out and saying she is staying for a second series
-
No worries
-
As far as I'm aware it's happening early April
-
At least, we can fall back on the specials for Yasmin, and Ruth if not already on them. That's my fear as well, that they announce some big guest stars, who we know will be a one and done appearance at conventions
-
Now we wont have a physical release. Or at the very least it is highly unlikely. The new series will end a couple of weeks before the summer show. We are likely to get guests from this series, I reckon.
