  1. i think i'm actually going to be sick with excitement about meeting Rupert Young today.
  2. Thanks guys. :) Hoping to get a few more cosplayers tomorrow. I spent a lot of time looking at the stalls today so i only caught a few of them as i was passing.
  3. i had THE best day ever today. :) really looking forward to tomorrow. particularly for rupert young!
  4. https://www.flickr.com/photos/carryfiasco/sets/72157646761105891/ my photos from today. more will be added tomorrow no doubt.
  5. Ah right fair enough. I wasn't that fussed as I prefer autos in my autograph book anyway but thought its be nice to have a collection of photos too if it wasn't an extra cost! Haha
  6. If I want a picture signed (from off the table) and my autograph book, do I have to pay twice ?
  7. Brian I've added a few on my Facebook (/carryfiasco if you want the link) can't remember if my profile is private but I'm adding from my phone as I go along. Got plenty on my camera to add later too.
  8. I am having an absolute blast! Managed to get all my autos done before main doors and then got the merchant I really wanted sorted and in the car. Now I'm sat ready for the GOT talk. Excited that there is a Harry Potter talk now too!
  9. ITS TODAY. i'm so hungry but i'm too excited to eat.
  10. yea, i think my early bird ticket is basically going to be used to quickly get my barings and figure out where everything is along with a few VTs for autographs i definitely want. from the schedule there is nothing i desperately want to be at before 12pm so i'll have plenty of time
  11. It's really not that big a venue. You can see the entire place from a few seats up, so I wouldn't worry about finding your way around haha. i've never actually been in there before. been to braehead shopping a few times, but never in the arena.
  12. just had a heart stopping moment at tesco checkout. my debit card wasn't in my purse and i was planning to get £100 out for tomorrow. luckily it was just in the wrong slot and i found it fairly quickly but i nearly had a complete panic attack more about tomorrow than the fact i couldn't afford food without it
  13. *adds 'man with a lady, poster tube and star wars tshirt' to my list of things to look out for*
  14. i saw your post about that matthew are you gonna see if you can get a sunday ticket as well? i think braehead is about a half hour drive for me so i'm planning to get there between half 8 and 9. i'll be the lost puppy with a fringe :)
  15. technically it's one and two more sleeps for me. i don't know which day i'm more excited for. today is already going ridiculously slowly at work.
  16. I'M SO EXCITED who is going to be there for early doors? i want to know who i can befriend
  17. i'm seriously getting so excited about meeting Rupert. i can't wait. eeeee.
  18. ah right, you must have supersonic printers then. haha. i imagined you'd probably get about 10 photos taken for the time to print one and end up with a sort of bottleneck! haha.
  19. are photos printed relatively quickly? just wondering because there are two instances both days for my pre-booked photo ops where the photo shoot slots are really short (ie the 5-10 minute ones) followed immediately by another 5-10 minute slot. if you were having both shoots done can you leave you first photo and pick it up with the second or do you have to wait?
  20. ah right, so hopefully they open up earlier then. did you buy breakfast there or bring it with you? i was just on the filling stations website but they don't open until 9. haven't had a filling station breakfast in years. Nope, breakfast supplied by Mr Ronald McDonald himself ah yesss. McDonald's website say they open at 8am so the place must be open by then! that's good then, don't' mind heading over earlier now then ordered early bird but there's nothing i massively want to be at until 12pm but i did kind of want to get VTs for a few autos. but if i don't have to wait outside for early bird i guess i can go in, get my VTs and either head out for breakfast, or stalk the stands and stuff before it gets busy.

  22. i have early bird tickets for both days. what time to braehead shopping centres doors actually open? ie. will i be queueing outside if i get there earlier than 9 or do they open the main doors a bit earlier than the shops open? i can't find any opening times on google, beside the opening times on intu which don't make any sense.
  23. i agree about photo ops. i have definitely gone for photo ops over autos. originally i wasn't even going to bother with autographs, but then you released the schedule and somehow from that i have a list of about £150 worth of autographs i want too. haha. i'm so unbelievably excited about meeting Rupert Young. i absolutely loved sir leon, he was my favourite thing about merlin. i will probably cry on him. hahaha. i've not really been going to cons very long, but i've met a lot of bands in the past and from talking to them, some of them remember me from tours in the past (maybe not by name but at least by sight) and some just give a quick signature and hi, but either way it's still a buzz just to be in their presence. the times i've managed to talk to some of my bigger musical heroes and told them how much they mean to me and how inspiring they are, you can see that they're really touched. and i guess meeting bands is the same kinda thing. either you wait around afterwards and hope that they'll stay which can be very hit and miss, they're not obliged to stop and talk after a show. or you pay for a meet and greet, where generally they're really friendly get a bit of a chat and a photo and autograph and sometimes a few songs which you've paid for. it's basically the same thing, just slightly different approach. okay i kinda waffled there but basically OMG IM SO EXCITED AND HOW AM I GOING TO GET THROUGH TWO MORE DAYS OF WORK AND THREE NIGHTS SLEEPS BEFORE DOOR OPEN.
  24. also William, i've just seen your sig. You met John Barrowman in Asda?! haha. was it a public appearance or was he just shopping?
