  1. Here you go Obi-Wan, found this link about the story I put on here a while back about the ghost car on the A3... http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/articles/2475168
  2. I have a couple stories... The first one made the front page of our local paper, there had been reports of drivers seeing headlights of a car coming towards them, coming down the wrong way on the A3 near Guildford. This was late in the evening, when the police went to investigate the next morning they found a car in a ditch near where people had reported seeing the lights. Nothing wrong there you think, but after the rescue operation and talking to doctors and matching it up with missing people claims they realised that the car had been sitting in that ditch for about 6 months! Secondly was when I was at school about 9 or 10 me and my friend were doing a plan of the school and we had to go and measure all the buildings on site. We went up to the top of the playing fields where there were the old hut buildings. We started measuring them with our metre sticks and as I walked round the corner I saw a white misty figure satnding at the top of the stairs. I could make him out quite clearly, he had a top hat and a smart dinner jacket with tails and looked like he was from the past. As I stood there my friend came round and she stopped and said can you see that? That made it worse as I though it might be my imagination, we ran!!! My mum even told the teachers what I'd seen thinking they would tell me not to be silly but they said 'Oh yes she probably did see something, quite a lot of the teachers have here!!' She only told me that a few years ago!
  3. I agree that the Gentlemen are very scary but I have a real problem with Die Kinderstat, he was really horrible. Also as you couldn't see him if you were an adult you would never know where he was, maybe he's sitting next to me now!! Very scary!!
  4. Am looking forward to seeing Buffy again!! Hopefully channel 5 will finish showing angel too. Then I shall have a great New year!
  5. I really enjoyed this season too and thought that the end was a good one. Always a chance of spin offs etc. I did cry a little at the end though Sorry if someone has already mentioned this, but they said over the end credits that they would be repeating the season late night so we can see it all again with the bits they cut oyt all back in. Does anyone know when they are starting? Thanks x
  6. I hope he was just having a bad day, it's a shame he was like that when you met him though. Glad he'll show up in Angel, he is soo funny, Andrew and Anya are my favourite at the moment, it's nice to get a bit of light relief in amongst all the apocalyptic stuff.
  7. I'm so glad you think that too as I was beginning to think that he was cute. Last nights episode with him filming everyone was so funny. Yay, we like Andrew, he's so fluffy!!
  8. Finished Return of the King!!!!! It was superb. Am so looking forward to seeing the film now!! 12 days to go!!

  13. I knew the snooker monsters would get Buffy!! But you're right at least we get one this week. That's what we always used to get, we're getting spoilt!!
  14. Thanks Emily, must watch that!!
  15. I think I have (finally) decided to... Read it!!!! Good point that the end of TTT is the beginning of ROTK, that then means it's ok for me to read it!
  16. I can't get the tune out of my head, been humming it all morning! What have we unleashed???!!
  17. Not me!!! I loved the all the back to the future films, they are awesome. Any guests from these films would be great and MJF is an amazing guy.
  18. Here it is...!!!! Altogether now!!! There's a magical place We're on our way there. With toys in their millions All under one roof. It's called Toys "R" Us! Soon after bedtime When dark night-time falls Geoffrey and helpers Stock up on the shelves. From ceiling to floor Books, board games and bikes. Teddies, puppets and dolls. Bats, spaceships and trikes. "There's millions!" says Geoffrey "All under one roof". It's called Toys "R" Us, Toys "R" Us, Toys "R" Us. I didn't remember it all, found it on the net!
  19. Good idea! Maybe the whole song will come back to me tonight if it does I'll post it here so we can all learn the words!!
  20. I've just read a bit by accident on the IMDb forum under return of the king about something that happens at the end. D'oh!!! I had to look away quickly so not to find out anymore! Definetly going to watch the film and enjoy that then read the books, then probably read them all again!! Am excited now!
  21. I remember the 'all under one roof' bit too! I don't know why i remember that, but never mind, at least I'm not the only one!
  22. Yep, Geoffry is the giraffe as I remember him in th tv ads, the line was something like 'Geoffrey and helpers stock up all the shelves' or something like that!
  23. Ray Mears is fantastic, he makes the best things out of nothing, and is great in the forset and in remote places. He would have been a very handy guide for the company in LOTR!
  24. Thanks Nyah. I know what you mean about reading the books after seeing the movie as when I picture it in my head I imagine the characters played by the actors in the film. I remember my friend saying to me after seeing TTT that Treebeard wasn't anything like he imagined when reading the book. It's nice when you read a book to imagine yourself what everyone looks like. I usually do prefer to read a book before seeing the film, but quite like your idea of reading most of ROTK and stopping near the end, but not sure if I can trust myself to stop!! Maybe I best leave the reading till after the film!!
