  1. Apart from a couple of minor irratations with the talks, I would like to say a big thank you to all those who organised and made this weekend possible. The hard work and effort to set something like this up is greatly appreciated! Thank you
  2. She made my weekend!! Greated everybody with a genuine smile and was happy to talk and pose for photos. Not once did I see her hurry someone away or look uninterested, despite the length of the queue. Would love to see her back again!!!
  3. Rose Leslie is without doubt one of the nicest people I've ever met. She was smiling from start to finish and had time for everyone that saw her. When I saw her she said to me that she didn't think she would have been as busy as she had been and seemed genuinely flattered that she was so popular. A great booking, would love to see her back again!!
  4. I too was disappointed with the talks. Game of Thrones talk on Saturday started 10 minutes late yet ended on the scheduled time. £15 for 15 minutes is poor!! Also sound was virtually non existant, I have now idea what was being said most of the time! Hayden talk on Saturday was also poor. No organisation at all. No mic to pass round to ask questions, ended up with a que of people down the centre isle, blocking the view of the stage for many. Open backed talk area for a talk we were charged £10 for is also disappointing, many people stood and watched for free! I have been put off future talks now after this!
  5. I really dont want to moan because overall I had a great weekend, but I need to say I am a little disappointed with the organisation and value for money of the talks. Firstly, I attended the Game of Thrones talk on Saturday. The talk started ten minutes late due to the sound system not working, yet finished bang on its scheduled end time. A 15 minute talk costing £15 seems a bit wrong to me! Secondly, the Hayden Panettiere talk on Saturday was so poorly organised. No mic to pass round the crowd meant a line of people queing down the middle and blocking most people's view of the stage. Also they changed the venue to the talk area with the open back (stage b ) Soon enough a large crowd gathered at the back and watched the talk for free.....I paid £10, who's the fool??? Hayden didnt seem all that impressed either!! As I said at the top I did have a great weekend but I just hope the organisers think a little more about the organisation of the talks and the value for money they give.
