  1. Thanks for the clarification guys, much appreciated...
  2. To date I have received all of the photoshoot tickets I have booked, and the five randomly assigned individual Captains talk tickets, unless I have missed something, it says that my Platinum Pass can be collected at the venue, now I assume this is where I will get the rest of the stuff that has not been sent but is part of my pass package - i.e 2 in person autos, ticket to each, party, ticket to stunt show etc, is this correct?
  3. Go go Gadget Speculation Hat....Daniel Craig (50 years of Bond, Skyfall, perfect timing) and/or Roger Moore (apparently he has a new book out I heard)
  4. I see the prices but still not up in the shop....waiting....still waiting....lol
  5. Gutted but that money can now go to Billy Gunn, plus I have the Dwarfers to look forward to....so I'm buzzing still...as for hottest guest Showmasters have ever had, sorry, no contest - Jeri Ryan and Gillian Anderson FTW!
  6. would be nice to have the billy gunn info at some point as he is one of the reasons i'm going...
  7. Just to be clear... I have, to date, placed two orders through Paypal. The earlier order contains 2 early bird Sunday entries, 1 Martin Landau and 1 Robert Powell photoshoot, and the second (placed today infact) is for the Bond group photo, since I have paid postage with the earlier order, I assume these and any subsequent orders will be bundled and sent out together, is this right? Thanks for your help.
  8. i know the carer's ticket is free for pick up at the event, and apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but do wee know yet what 'proof of disability' is required to claim the free carer's ticket?
  9. I am on a Platinum ticket and if I've read the replies right, I won't have to pay for Captain's photos to sign because they will be included, presumably any non captain auto I get I will have to pay for the photo ontop of the signature... Is this correct?
  10. Name: Pav Age: 28 Travelling From/With: Birmingham, going with younger brother Ticket/Intended Purchase: Platinum (as this is to me a once in a lifetime kind of opportunity) Favourite Trek: Deep Space Nine, TNG especially followed by Voyager. Favourite Trek Actor/Actress: Patrick Stewart/William Shatner Most Wanted Guest: Jeri Ryan (though I fear seeing her sheer sexiness twice this year may be asking too much!), Picardo, Spiner Favourite Other Movies/TV Shows: X-Files, Mission Impossible, Columbo, Leverage, Shark, Anything Batman or James Bond, Law and Order Music: Metal/Rock/Soundtracks. Other Interests: Writing short stories, poetry/video games, huge collector of film scale models, particulary Batman/James Bond
  11. I was going to say I did telephone to ask about these things and was told if I got my ticket (Platinum Pass) and ticked the box about assistance, a carer would be allowed to accompany me into the talks, party etc...this is great as it works out considerably cheaper for me, and so have booked under this understanding though I would like to ask for clarification of what exactly constitutes 'proof of disability' in this case - surely it is enough proof to turn up in my powered wheelchair alongside my carer?
  12. This is awesome and makes me wonder who else from Voyager might show up. My personal choices would be: The Doctor Janeway Kes Torres I assume since no special day is given here, he will be present on the Saturday (when I am going).
  13. This is very hard soI will do my best to split my choices into Male/Female and Tv/Film and give myself leeway by having up to a top 3 in each category - though when you think about it, even this is very limiting. TV - Male: 1. Hugh Laurie 2. Patrick Stewart 3. Dean Stockwell TV - Female (Since my original top 2 here have already been announced for this Con, I have to go further down the list, so this is effectively now a top 5) 1. Jeri Ryan - she'll always be number 1. 2. Gillian Anderson 3. Michaela McManus 4. Kelli Giddish 5. Sarah Jones - generically named but still sexy as hell Film - Male 1. Jack Nicholson 2. Christopher Lloyd - already attended, 3. Tommy Lee Jones Film - Female 1. Rosamund Pike - she's the film equivalent to Jeri Ryan in this case 2. Cameron Diaz 3. Heather Graham
  14. also looking at last year's guest list and some of the stars on it, I wondered how likely it would be that at least some of them would put in a repeat performance this year...is that likely, or is it a completely unique guest list every year?
  15. thanks for the packed lunch tip....in all the excitement, I hadn't even thought of that...
  16. As I understand it, the Gold Pass allows you to queue jump into any queue without the wait, and without a virtual ticket, but as far as I understand it you still have to pay for autographs (in the queue) and photoshoots (pre-booked or in the queue) but NOT the talks. I also would assume for the price that the autograph packs are genuine but I doubt that you'd get to see who signed what before purchase. I would also think that unfortunately the photoshoots would endeavour to have a relatively quick turnover so I don't think you'd get the opportunity for much of a chat or for them to stop and sign something as part of it, that's what the autograph queues are for - but saying that, I'd love to have a chat with Jeri Ryan if it were possible. As far as I understand it, guests can be announced very late, like a week or two before the con so it is very much a play by ear thing and if its someone you just HAVE TO see to prebook what you can as soon as they are announced. This is just how I understand things work, but like you this will also be my first ever Con, so I might not have it entirely accurate, hope it helps answer some of your questions at least.
  17. I did wonder about using this site to guarantee autographs from people whom I may not get around to seeing on the day, as I currently plan to attend only the Saturday, would this be considered cheating? Also I noticed that not all guests for the con are on there, so I assume its limited to who has agreed to do these types of autographs...is that correct?
  18. I will say I got an email from Hazel yesterday mortning informing me the card had now been accepted and my order would now be processed, as yet the status of my order stands at viewed and payment has not yet been taken. I am hopeful that everything will go through though...
  19. As I said I've got no problem upgrading to early bird on the day and think this might be better since you can't pre pay for Gillian...thanks for the heads up, just means I'd have to book an earlier train...
  20. worst case...if I have to I would be prepared to turn up early and see what happens, but as these are two of the most popular guests, I wouldn't be surprised if lots of people have the same idea...and I would be prepared to get early bird tickets and pay a bit extra, if I could somehow trade them over for thec standard tickets I currently have, just don't want tickets going to waste understandably...
  21. Again, I have prepaid for Jeri's autograph and hope to pay for Gillian's on the day...I hope it all works out, the other photoshoot I have booked for Saturday is Jonathan Frakes so hope there are no clashes or anything...
  22. I will wait for clarification from staff, thanks for your help regardless...
  23. I would assume that since I have booked photoshoots, I would get to see the...but the fact that you say I will not...havinf already brought standard entry tickets, I am now a bit anxcxious, if I now buy Early Bird tickets, it essentially means my standard entry tickets (got 3 for me and my brothers) go to waste...
  24. Hi, I'm new here and this LFCC will be my first and as such I'd appreciate if people can bear with my questions if they seem a littler obvious... I am a huge Gillian Anderson and Jeri Ryan fan and those two are really the main reasons I'm going, and I know both are scheduled only for Saturday...due to budgetry reasons, I've only brought tickets for standard adult entry on the Saturday (at 11 AM), but have booked photoshoots/talks with both aand prepaid for Jeri's autograph...I just wondered if the standard entry put me at a disadvantage compared to Gold Pass and Early Bird ticket holders? I am coming up from Birmingham, and really wouldn't want to miss either of these two. Second question is, will photos and that be provided for them to sign when you go up, or would you have to bring your own stuff? For such a golden opportunity, I wouldn't want them to sign some random piece of paper... Lastly, I have booked talks abut am in a wheelchair, would advance notice need to be given about access or is everything accomodated for in that regard, if not, whom do I contact and where/when? Thanks.
