Yes 5 of the BIGGEST guests out of the 140 ill add! so if you fork up for a gold wanting to meet 'ONLY' those 5 guests out of 140 then yes it can feel like the golds not worth what it was.

But why be annoyed??? as you say you have diamond so would get priority anyway?! it just means that us golds could join a queue straight away before regulards come in. then people with diamonds would just go on to meet the guest infront of us, no fuss or hassle.

QS or someone may correct me but Im guessing even if you have a diamond pass, this DOES NOT mean you will get early entry. that just means you get the benefits of that guest. you still need your entry ticket. i think its just golds who get in earlier. I have an MJF diamond pass, based on the post i quoted above does this mean that even when it comes to entry to the building all diamond passes for diff people have a different queue to everyone else and therefore get let in the building first? Will this be clearly marked on the day? I was planning on queueing from before half 7, should i not need to now? The only people not connected to my diamond pass i want to get will be a VQ ticket for chris lloyd and a VQ ticket for Lea Thompson - will diamond passes get let in before everyone else but then get to do VQ tickets for any guest anhead of the normal entry? This is my opinion. i understand people who have bought the diamonds get super priority, thats fine and dandy as they payed for it, much like golds pay for the priority of no vqt...so why do these guests outside the diamond passes require vqt when golds have paid the 2nd best option to get in earlier in order to get in line, id be super cheesed if i didnt get to meet either weaver or paxton WITH a gold and a handful without golds did! what did i pay the 200 plus quid for is what id be asking. that way people who pay the gold pass and diamond pass dont loose out, then the regulars who require vqt would just be as normal like it has been in the past.

That is actually a good idea, just have whoever it is on the gold queue door pass down tickets to people.

I was looking at getting there for around 8ish and thats with a gold pass but im not sure now we know we must have vqts. but id agree about getting in first so get a better chance at getting the tickets, IF i leave saturday with all the autographs i want then alls fine.

My thoughts exactly. making to me the gold pass pointless to me, esp if you want to get autos from those guests but cant get the diamonds for each one. so the people who buy diamonds have priority for the diamond guests which is fine but then golds get put on the same level as regulars without gold passes, no offense btw but the whole point of golds was to avoid VQT, thats what we pay the £200+ for. No offense to the other guests but alot of them would be very likely easier to get over the weekend without a gold pass, so i bought a gold pass to increase my chance of getting to see the bigger guests, now im back to square 1 and 200 quid less. Indeed, we ask a millions times on the forum if we can directly to the lines of the guests, and now, we need a vq ticket Goldpasses : "Autographs with Diamond pass guests: You’ll require a virtual queue ticket." Im sure im not the only one, but putting all the autographs thats i wish to get aside, i also plan to do a bit of shopping on the stalls over the weekend and have a good look for certain things ive been wanting for a while, so i just wondered how many of you guys also have some sort of idea of certain things to look for on the stalls, maybe things you collect and want to get more for your collection etc? certain action figures, statues, comics etc? do you have things in mind you want to look for prior to the show or do you just go and just get whatever you see that catches your eye? Ive got a long list this year...funko pops and arrow/flash figures mainly lol but also some marvel ant man movie type merch would be cool too.

Yeah as already mentiond not much is known and QS has stated shes stil waiting on how things are gonna work regarding this so until then nothing is 100%. It will be total sh*t though if golds still need a vqt for the NON EXCLUSIVE diamond guests like weaver and paxton! I personally thinks it is bad that Gold Pass holders would need a VQT. Its for diamond guests that The big value comes in. SM would loose nothing in letting us have that. Looks like it, but unconfirmed so far. QS was still waiting for a final answer on that issue last I heard.

Yeah as already said friday isnt a preview night now with being open officially from 1pm. im looking forward to friday, once my photoshoots are done im hoping i can have a good look around the stalls friday night before the mad rush saturday.

Which is why i think an hour at most with a gold i think. i think its about a 30min tube ride from where im staying to the venue so if i get there for around 8ish ill be happy:)

Yeah you should be fine going by what stuart and others have said. its just all about planning really and being prepaired but again as he said if you dont need to rush off and leave early any of the days then you should be okay. I want weaver, paxton, lloyd etc too so i have high hopes with the gold pass, but even without alot of ppl say it should be fine Excellent, I'll get there early as possible, I'm really looking forward to meeting her and I'm still in a daze, can't believe this is happening great, this should work because I'm planning to be there all day on the 3 days and I'm staying in London so I got a good chance. Yay !!!!

We are awaiting confirmation on this so not much is know until QS or SM post about how it will all work. So far though MJF is the only DIAMOND EXCLUSIVCE guest so until more info is posted no1 really knows.

yes definitely, like i say i only usually visit london twice a year really, for the summer and winter shows, unless i attend a concert etc so usually forget what tubes i need to where. Another reason why i always book to stay in a hotel near kings x as i can just cross the road and get the tube straight away in the morning. the instructions you said and which trains to get sounds pretty simple though so thanks for that! no doubt i wont miss it as ill prob start seeing loads of people that look like their heading that way anyway :)

Would your advice on arrival time for the saturday also relate to gold pass holders too? Im got a gold pass for the first time this year so will be picking it up on the friday and ive been told by other people not on the forum that with golds arriving 8-8.30 is fine?

yeah get there early enough and as stuart said if your staying all day it should be ok. i have a gold but will still be aiming to arrive an hour or so before doors open Excellent, I'll get there early as possible, I'm really looking forward to meeting her and I'm still in a daze, can't believe this is happening

Very well said! Im a MASSIVE Ghostbusters fan so it wasn't something i had to think about! Aphoto with her and hopefully a signed photo of her as dana/zuul will go nicely in my gb collection! Agree to buy the ones that you think are appropriate. If you're a massive Aliens/Ghostbusters/Avatar/etc fan then £95 to meet SW might seem like a bargain. If you're not then it probably won't! It really is down to what you like and want. I've paid for a MJF diamond pass - I don't think that there is anyone else in the world I would pay that much for - doesn't make me a hypocrite, just a BTTF fan!

Alot of us hope so too lol, if we cant it makes the gold pass a little less worth having 2bh. but stuart and qs have said sm havent said anything else yet so until them im as others are, assuming that the NON EXCLUSIVE diamond guests will just work like normal guests with golds, I.E. no VQT.

Yeah me too mate, i plan to hopefully get most of the autographs i want on friday, i.e sherilyn fenn, kelly hu, james remar, chris lloyd etc etc, if i can get most of them done then ill have more time for getting weaver and paxton on sat hopefully and also be able to fit in some talks inbetween my photoshoots sat and sun :) I'm a good pass holder and I'm aiming for 11:30, but that's just me. You don't really but by the time I get in to Euston and then over to Kensington I just thought this year I'd get straight to the venue, Friday is going to be an autograph mission for me this year.
