Please... we all know you'll have that done the week before... Good thing about traveling up each day, don't need to figure out how many pairs of socks are enough but not too many to be anal... Nah, unfortunately I'm always doing stuff right till the last minute!

What's the bets that at five past we're all sat here pressing refresh like it's going out of fashion? -
I'm going to give myself extra time to pack, because it always takes longer than you would think

C) Rude to the people who are happy about the event or guest. Every party has a pooper who wants to rain on the parades of others though, for whatever weird little reason. -

Question regarding being hard of hearing
stevie_g replied to cecitj's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2014
Usually the rough floorplan gets posted the on here the day before or morning of the event (though that may not always be possible) - easy to download and transfer to whatever smart device you happen to be carrying. Yeah, i know,it's qucker to pull up a photo on my phone though, and only takes a second for me to do -

At other cons I've took photos of the floor plan and timetable and that way they are with me in my pocket at all times :) -

I watched the 'wooly bully' clip on youtube as it was one of the first things I ever saw him do. It had me mesmerised as a kid.- 23 replies

How Many Guests Are You Meeting?
stevie_g replied to Xenomorph's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2014
five so far, but that could well grow based on announcements and timetables. My sunday is pretty dominated by Stan Lee. -
Lauren Cohan

I wouldn't mind meeting him but I'd much prefer the Cinema Snob, who is great

Sorry about that, I thought it was my phone playing up the first time

Glad it's not just me

In the past week we lost Sam Kelly and the legendary Rik Mayall. This got me thinking that we never really get to meet such people much at these events, even though comedic actors are very popular in this country. So would anyone else like to meet a Paul Whitehouse or Adrian Edmondson? Inbetweeners cast, or Ronnie Corbett? These are just suggestions of course, but I'd be interested in what other people think.

It's just by chance in a way that I'm going alone this year. I used to go with my girlfriend (we found out about these things when looking to see what was on), and last year a friend but she is due a new addition to her family around that time so can't make it this year (she vows to return though). But no way am I going to miss it! A lot of my mates can't afford the trip to London so will probably be heading to NFCC again next year. But for me, I'm treating it as a holiday and packing the weekend with as much fun as possible! I have friends down south so may see some. Doing stuff off your own back is character building I think, too.

This week we lost Sam Kelly and the legendary Rik Mayall. It got me thinking how beloved stars like this are but we don't seem to meet them at events like this much. Would anyone else like to see people like Adrian Edmondson or Paul Whitehouse? I was just wondering.
