I STILL keep checking and hoping...lol And when I get an email from Showmasters I'm like oohh..only to find it's announcements of new guests etc for cons or events I'm not going too..yeah I'm still jealous!

This is absolutely ROCKIN news!!! I've too checked this forum on a regular basis (daily lol) hoping for a Lockdown 2 announcement...so this is GREAT news to hear. Lockdown is also the only event I wanna go to also. I can't wait for the announcement but atleast now I know there's def. gonna BE one!! That's great news!

I voted Lost, 24 and Supernatural lol. But I agree with Lyly, give us LOCKDOWN 2 PLEASE!!

I went alone to Lockdown and allthough I knew ppl who were coming it was only via their nicks on other forums and I had no clue what they looked like in person. We found one another and hung out the entire weekend. Had a blast and er..abit too much fun perhaps? LOL I have no comments about which system is better as far as seating goes, I just don't think it's necessary to queue more than need bee..there's enough of that already lol. I had Gold Pass and I will get a Gold pass on the next one. I was only missing (and this is due to another con I went to in 07, not a SM one) they had this clip board up or whatever it's called with info on where to go for autograph sessions etc. I soon realized that for Lockdown this wasn't necessary as it was a small con this time around. Also there were plenty of staff to ask if you weren't sure. So that's no longer an issue for me either lol SO no complaints whatsoever from me, allthough I wish the hotel had free internet access! That's the hotel's fault though..not Showmasters lol. Other than that lil grrr the hotel was fine too!

Jason I freaked when I saw this topic!!! I was like NOOOOOOOOO NOT NOW I don't have the moneny to buy tix now!!! lmao..then I read it was for 2009...and I don't think it will be in January as Lost are already filming the 5th season then...so I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo going!!

Yes We arrived very late at home on monday evening because they have had to evacuate St Pancras station, but Mylene came back to home only tuesday morning UK is like the LOST Island : Jacob didn't want that we leaved the island LOL hello there Sebastien lol I'm SOO happy I didn't have to deal with the bomb scare..I had that happening to me at Victoria St. some years ago and well it was pretty scary. So Tall..I spoke a few words with you but not to a great extent..but like Bella said..you're not easy to miss and with the big man boobies on Saturday night...well LOL!!!

I'm so happy I went to this event, I had a total blast, don't regret going for a second. Everyone I met were lovely! The SM staff, the guests, the attendees at Lockdown, not a glitch in sight. I also gotta give a shoutout to SM for being so accomodating to Lyly when she couldn't arrive on Friday but arrived midday Saturday and she STILL got her photos taken. I seriously think that was a very good gesture and I know she loved this! I also gotta say I was floored when we got extra pics of our photoshoots. That was a generousity I didn't expect and the same with the lil goodies we got in our hotel rooms. Also the fun with the dharma beer or dharma lemonade lol. The drinks reception for the Gold Pass attendees. I LOVED that each guest had a "minder" that made sure that this guest got to talk to everyone there, it's was well organized and went by smoothly! The staff were all friendly and polite too (I recognized some of them from Asylum last year hehe!) always had answers to whatever questions we asked them. Also it was great talking to you too Jason, to get the gist on what lies behind arranging such an event, why you decided to go for it instead of cancelling and after THIS event I'm soooo happy you and your partner decided to go ahead on doing this! Those who didn't go after all missed out on lots of fun! So if I can make it (time wise or money wise lol) I'm DEF. coming back!!!

Good to hear you got home safely Bella! I enjoyed chatting with you and well hope to see you again at a Lost con, (or a Bon Jovi gig for that matter lol!!). I too got home safe and sound, no travel problems whatsoever. But I heard others had problems with train cancellations, bomb scare and all that..jeez!

Me I got no clue what to wear for the cocktail party...I do have my hawaii theme costume sorted though...the rest I won't worry about untill I pack, Thursday afternoon/evening lol. Also I phoned park inn hotel..they accept American Express cards yay! All sorted!

I know you don't have to use the same card to pay for your hotel at the Park Inn. Just don't pay in cash as they don't like it as I found out when at Eclipse. LOL thanks but I don't carry that much cash on me. I guess I can phone them up :).

I got a question too..does ANYONE know if Park Inn accepts American Express?? I had to give a cc number when I booked but it doesn't mean I gotta use that card to check in..so I am wondering if they'd accept American Express card?

At Asylum 07 I bought this handmade Lost book, I'll bring that along and use it as my autograph book :). Since I only have carry on luggage on this trip I can't bring too much so that and my free pics if I get them in time. If not then just that book!

As for the group shot, I only expected pictures with EACH guest, not the full group...so to me this is a nice gesture

I've not decided..I may just wear black dressy trousers and a dressy top though. I don't feel comfortable wearing a coctail dress LOL. I got one but it needs to be fitted to me so that's extra money and time I do not have hehe. But I'm not worried...my worry is mostly that i'll be going away for a work seminar two days before I'm off to the con and how I'll manage to get enough time to PACK!! LOL arrrghhh ...planning ahead for packing..so NOT my thing lol

To be honest this is a real bummer but I was prepared when I read reports that the main cast was to be in Hawaii filming and with the strike happened as it does etc...so I'm not surprised one BIT this happened. Crap happens and you make the best with what you got. I am and I will repeat it...I AM VERY HAPPY it's not being cancelled whatsoever cos I'd never get my money back for my flight and train bookings! Too late for that now, flying with Ryanair..well they're not to helpful with cancellations, let's keep it at that lmao. So as it is now, I'm just going for the party..yes I am a gold pass holder and I bought it in good faith...and I'll attend in good faith that I'll probably end up having a blast no matter who's VIP guests and ok this IS the first Lost con in UK, so better luck next time! Atleast I'll meet SOME of the Lost actors!! Not main ones but hopefully that will come in the next round . So I'm going and going with the attitude of well make the best of it and have fun! I got my lei and will hunt for a Hawaii shirt and now I gotta admit I'm kinda curious now on the other guests that are coming and who SM may get as replacement for HIC. As for refunds or discounts, since SM is already losing money on this con, discount wouldn't be expected regardless, cancellations happnes, hey I was at a Supernatural con last year (going to one this year too) and the guy playing Sam Winchester in the show cancelled due to filming obligations, he's coming this year though. So hey it's a chance we take when we buy tix for a con. I'm just happy I won't lose my money for the flight/train as the con isn't cancelled. (My boss would be happy if it was cos I'd be working instead lmao!) But yeah bummed out HIC ain't coming but still happy the con is on and will make the best out of it still..and will hope that the next time they arrange Lockdown again will bring SM less headache!! Now where can I get that darn Hawaii shirt....

Rodders thanks for the tip on where I can get Hawaiian shirts but I er..have spent enough money on conventions and Bon Jovi so I am broke LOL!!!

First, I never called everyone morons, but I do stand by that to those NOT following requests by the party organizers or event or whatever happening ppl attends, there is a HUGE difference if the VIP ask if anyone wants a picture! They ask if you want one, it'd be rude to say "no" wouldn't it? . So no I won't call you a moron for that, you just got the offer and you took it. Shame it was dark then...but you respected the other guests too :). So you did absolutely nothing wrong. I mean those who refuses to follow instructios in general, those who just CANNOT stop themselvs from harassing ppl for whatever. Those I call morons and I stand by that namecalling.

No I dare ya!! LMAO..just watch out for anyone dressed as Sawyer... As for the coctail party...it's a fancy dress party or will any nice dress do? And where did my Hawaiian shirts go?? Darn...lol now I gotta go Hawaiian shirt hunting..lmao!
