Hi everyone, I just wanted to add a huge thank you to all those people who turned up to the meet. I am sorry I couldn't get there until later on, and that I missed so many of you. Those of you I did meet, it was an absolute pleasure, and I really mean that. Those of you I didn't meet, I know that it would have been a pleasure!!!!!!!! ( Maybe with the exception of Neo. Awful person. Met him before. Terrible sense of artistry too )!!!!!!!lol Seriously though, we are very lucky to have such a great group of people on our forum, and attending our shows. I hope that we can continue to live up to your expectations, and keep bringing you events that you can look forward to. I was amazed that some people at the meet had travelled so far that they booked into hotels for the night. I can honestly say that I did not expect that! I was also amazed at how difficult it had been for at least a couple of people to travel to the event, and yet still they came. The book that people did for us was wonderful. I can speak for all of us here at Showmasters when I say that we were incredibly touched by that. It was completely unexpected, and such a lovely thought. Running events like Collectormania always involves ups and downs. I'm happy to say that the ups far outweigh the downs, but at least now when we have a down moment, that book will always remind us why we do it. That's it pretty much. I look forward to seeing everyone at Collectormania. Please do say hello to us, even though we will be busy, and I PROMISE that next time we have a forum get-together, I will be the first person to arrive, and the last person to leave!!! Hey peeps, I just wanted to add that I had an absolute blast at the forum meet. Everyone there was supremely cool and my only regret was that there just wasn't enough time to speak to all the folks that attended. Next time I'm gonna make a point of saying "Hi!" to absolutely everyone before I do anything else :) I hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as I did and that you will all be back for the next meet. To those who didn't/couldn't attend, trust me when I say, it was an absolute scream and anyone that wants to join the madness will be made VERY welcome at any future meets. Special mention to the following peeps... DavidB You da man! Undisputed King of the Forum. A gentleman and a scholar. There's nothing wrong with being quiet when you know you're just soooo damn good. Take it easy my friend. And btw, try and keep the noise down when Houdy and I are *ahem* busy. It's very distracting. Sir Nicholas, HoD U know how to rock man, almost as well as...THE DARKNESS!!! Hi everyone, People say that ' school is the best time of your life '!! Whilst I think this is a bit strong, school can certainly be a great time in your life. At the end of the day it's like everything else in life, you'll get out of it what you put in. I really enjoyed school, and then University life. Both are experiences that when you are older you will almost certainly look back on fondly, although it may not feel like that at the time. The way I look at it is that if you leave school at 18, then you still have almost 50 years of working life compared to the short 13 years you spent at school! I know I sound like an old man now, but enjoy school and all the opportunities it provides for you, cause if you don't, I almost guarantee that one day you will wish you did. Anyway, lecture over. Have a good start back those of you who are going, and someone pass me my walking stick!!!!!!!!!!!! Mark

I'd like to say a big HELLOOOOO to everyone I met yesterday! And *puts official hat on* thank you EVERYONE for the wonderful book, it really makes everything seem a bit more worthwhile to know that someone appreciates the work we do. We were all quite touched! *takes hat off* I thoroughly enjoyed my day off, it was great to be able to put faces to names (even if I've managed to forget many of your names already! Sorry!). It was also great to see how everyone accepted people for what they were, even if they weren't what everyone expected. It didn't matter what you looked like, or how old/young you were, or how quiet/talkative you were. It was nice that people could be themselves. And for those of you who couldn't make it DON'T WORRY! Darth Owl, We have stated time and again that we do not comment on guests or potential guests until we have agreement with them. therefore, I cannot answer your questions on more Star Wars guests any more than I have already done. We are still talking with several people, and I cannot tell you who. Whether they appear at C4 will depend on whether we reach an agreement with them. As for Star Wars fans who have bought tickets to the Star Wars screening, we will of course offer a refund should they want it, as one of the onl two guests now cannot make it.
