  1. Gotta be GLA (Great Lakes Avengers). Squirrel Girl. Hubba! Hubba! Hubba!
  2. I'm going. I've been to all but one of the FX events from the last 7 years, and they are pretty damn good! Mike, the current promoter is back in charge after being away for a bit, and the show has escaped the cathedral like Orange County Convention Centre on International drive. The venue has changed from last year due to, I believe, it being demolished for/amalgamated into the local University. They never used to have any guest of note, but promoter Mike has hooked up with SM and the calibre of guests has improved greatly. Plenty of goodies to buy for all tastes, and you just can't visit Orlando without doing the theme parks. Disney MGM, Busch Gardens and the two Universal Studios being my favourites. Go if you can, you'll love it! Top tips: Book a flight ASAP as they only get more expensive nearer the time. There are plenty of really, really cheap hotels in Int. Drive, which is near the fairgrounds, but you will need to hire a car. Lots of packages to see on Expedia. Dave@Incognito
  3. Mr T will be promoting his new comic at the San Diego Comic Con this year, but we probably won't see him here. He apparently doesn't like to fly. Really, honestly. He only drives or takes the train - even to see his mum, who lives in Chicago apparently. "He ain't getting on no plane, fool!" But we can dream.
  4. Gotta get Seth MacFarlane. Not only did he create Family Guy, he's the voices of Peter, Brian, Stewie, Quagmire, Tucker and loads of others. Alex Borstein (Lois), Mila Kunis (Meg). Also need Seth Green who voices Chris, and of course Danny Smith the voice of the Evil Monkey (who lives in Chris's closet!). You might have guessed, but I love this show! Yiggity, Yiggity, Yiggity.
  5. In the 60's Marvel. (Stan Lee - thank you so much!!) In the 70's DC. (Jack Kirbyverse. Marshal Rogers on Detective Comics) In the 80's DC (Watchmen, V For Vendetta, Batman: the Dark Knight Returns, Batman: The Killing Joke) Marvel very average (excpet for Frank Miller Daredevil run and John Byrne Uncanny X-Men run) In the 90's. Marvel (Quite a dull decade for comics - too much product, too many shiny covers.) In the 00's. A draw so far. Some great writers and artists about. If you can write well and draw well, it doesn't matter which company or character that you work with. If you are good, what you create will be good. I know it's a Marvel vs. DC thread, but there is some great talent on the Independant publishers, so don't ignore them.
  6. Exterminate! Though nothing if funnier than hearing a Dalek say "Cheese" when posing for a photo.
  7. Forget The Dog. The only bounty hunter you need is the star of Renegade, that quality early 90's show Lorenzo Lamas. Oh, and you have to book his faithful sidekick/boss Bobby Sixkiller too!! More mullets than a fishmongers.
  8. My golden rule is get to the car park before opening time. If you arrive at noon, there might already be 20,000 people in front of you. Weird fact: most people travel a park in a clockwise direction - go round anti-clockwise!! Another plan is to get to the furthest point in the park (the back) as many parks have the big rides there. Do them and then come to the front of the park - as everybody else goes slowly to the back of the park. Try and get a Fast Pass for a ride on the opposite side of the park that you are currently on, so by the time you get there, it's time for your ride! Single Rider queues. Use them and save hours, literally, when queueing, especially on Hulk, Spider-man and Men In Black. Don't forget Duff Gardens, sorry Busch Gardens. Great rides, and the Budweiser Beer School - free beer and world class rollercoasters, fantastic! Volunteer for everything - especially for the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular - just throw me the whip!! Blatant plug: Stay at our place. Check out www.VillaAmerica.co.uk
