  1. Agreed! I thought it was a great idea. I'm always afraid of loosing my photo/auto tickets etc.
  2. Highs Seeing all my friends and making lots of new ones! Meeting all the guests of course That RDA struck up a conversation with me at his auto more than just 'hi, how are you?'. The staff doing such an amazing job in the chaos of it all and being so cheery Lows Mine are more to do with the hotel...and some attendees, nothing to do with the crew who were fab! I agree with others comments about the hard corners of the beds. Got several bruises up my legs! The foot ache! Prices at the Hilton The heat! although the aircon was on for sunday :) The people who kept standing up, talking and getting in the way of others during the talks. There were several people who stood up in the gold section which meant no one behind could see, let alone take photo's. I managed to get an isle seat on sunday and still people sitting in isle seats stood up. Also there was a large amount of gold seats empty at either side where nobody sat all weekend. Apart from that it was amazing! Last time I stayed at the Hilton the staff were rather rude but this time they were lovely. Also witness two non stargate attendees there for business conferences 'getting groovy' literally, in the lobby. Thankfully the staff told them to move on or they'd call the police so thumbs up for the hotel staff for that :) Was slightly annoyed at some of the other people staying at the hotel looking down on us though. I had several snarky comments like 'your not with them....are you?'
  3. From what was said on stage at 7.5 and talking to other attendees, the ticket numbers sold online will start after those sold at the event. The general impression was that there will be 450 Silver tickets available, but no one has said for sure. And talking to some friends, Silvers at the show sold up to 100 or just over. With regards to the time constraints, again this is just speculation, but the Hilton where 7.6 is being held can apparently facilitate around 1200 people for an event. So going by the numbers 150 gold, 450 silver, that's already 600 autographs RDA will be doing in person. They wouldn't be able to get through everyone over the weekend if everyone got his autograph in person as they did mention that he is a slow signer. If we can buy extra auto's it'll probably be limited to 1 or 2 and probably only for gold and silver. Photo's will probably be limited for all ticket types as well. It does all depend on how many people attend though so I guess we'll just have to wait for the official word from Massive Events.
  4. Name: Charlotte Ticket: Silver 21 At 7.5: I was and had a fab time What Chevrons have you attended in the past? All the Chev's except the first one
  5. That's just mean, teasing us like that! I'm all excited to find out what could possible make a Stargate con better now! Loving the RDA talk....*sigh* if only
  6. If I applied, I'd have to travel there that morning and the earliest I could get there would be 7:30am. Is that too late or would that be ok?
  7. Hours are usually along the lines of 7am-7pm - if you can get there for that time without staying overnight then they don't have a problem with that. There have been places to leave bags the times I've crewed too. My general crewing experience so far: you come away from the event exhausted, aching, and dying to do it all over again! That sounds great. Thank you! I'm going to see if I can get there for the morning, I'm only just over an hour away from London but public transport is never the best in the mornings
  8. I would love to crew, it's something I've always wondered about but never done before. I was just wondering, if I did apply, I would only be able to do one day. Is there anywhere I could leave my bag while crewing as I wouldn't be staying overnight in a hotel? And is it possible to crew without staying overnight considering travel to and from the event, ie: What hours do you usually work? Thanks
  9. Awesome, never met her before. But heard she's lovely. Great guest thanks!
  10. I'm getting in around 10pm Friday night at Buchanan bus station. I was wondering if anybody knew of a bus I could catch at that time of night? I'm going to the Braehead Travelodge.
  11. I was under the impression it would cost from £10 - £15. Although I cant say for certian. I'll be going from Braehead to Glasgow Central, about the same distance. Was thinking of getting a bus to save on costs.
  12. I'm staying there with a friend, but I'm getting in around 10pm Friday... I'll probably need a drink after my 10 hour bus journey though!
  13. Would definitely love to see Jason Momoa there as well! Him and Joe would be a right laugh
