hi all, i was just wondering how its best to work seeing as many guests as you can? last year i only saw those with short queues but this year me and my friend want to meet as many LOTR stars as we can. we will be there on the friday saturday and sunday. where do you get tickets from? and once you get them can you get tickets for all the other guests too? what time is it best to get there? are their queues before they open?

please someone help me on this as this year i wanna get it right :S

Check the FAQs section in the forum and the opening times on the main Collectormania page. Arrive at the centre in good time for the opening and when you come in look for the boards showing the faces of the guests where the queue areas are. Tickets are given out from there. Tickets are given out on a first-come first-served basis only, and you and your friends must EACH have a ticket - one ticket per person will be strictly enforced. You can collect tickets for as many guests as you like.

Good luck!  ;)

The point of the ticket/virtual queue system is that you do not have to stand around waiting for hours. Keep checking the white boards and listen for announcements about what number tickets are being let in to see the guest, and join the line once the number has gone past yours.

I have been to C2-4 and each time I have arrived at about 9am and have always met all the guests I went to meet so no need to get there before the doors open unless you are desperate to get really low ticket numbers.

Also, what happened at C4 on the sunday is not the norm for Collectormania so dont expect it to be like that at C5, that is unless they announce a guest you know everyone will want to meet between now and next weekend, then my advice would be to be there as earlier as possible.

wow guys thx for all the help!

one more thing.. where do you get the tickets for the major guest from? is it where the actual guests are or at the information booth thing? isnt that where they had the hobbits' tickets last year?

all the guests that have tickets work the same way as far as I know!
(sure HoD or some one will enjoy correcting me if I'm wrong!   )

you find where the guest is signing by looking for the pics above them then some nice SM peep will be there handing out tickets (if that guest HAS tickets) which are raffel ticket sized - don't loose them! whether the guest is "major" or "minor" this will be done exactly the same!

hope you meet everyone you want to!

Tickets are handled the same for all guests, its just with Elijah, Dom, Sean and Andy at C4 you had to queue for your ticket, usually there is no line and you just go upto the SM Crew Member and take a ticket.

Also, I dont know if this is correct but the tickets at C5 are ment to be like the ones at LFCC with the name of the guest on them and which day they are valid for, much better than raffle tickets in my opinion.

The reason I got there early was the fact many people did not get pics with the guests or personalisted auto's the later you went because there was just no time.
