  1. Didn't read everyone's but how about... TBBT cast Felicia Day Anyone of the Sucker Punch cast Gideon Emery (voice actor for Fenris in DA2 and Balthier in FFXII... Oh that voice *sigh*) Torchwood cast (Especially Eve Myles, so I can tell her how awesome she was in DA2) That will do for now
  2. It was my first LFCC, and for me, it felt like the best weekend ever. It was so much fun to meet new friends, walk around, have people walk up asking for photos of my cosplay. I felt like I fit in for once in my life. Meeting people with the same interests and having a good old laugh is what I really needed since i have always felt different to others. So LFCC means a lot. A huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge lot.
  3. I would like to thank all the crew (they were so busy but professional all the time), the fellow cosplayers I met who were so friendly and lovely, and the attendees who were so well-mannered and asked for photos so shyly lol. Best. Weekend. Ever.
  4. Whee they did put it up. I could have made more of a case but.... I was raging and it wouldn't have been nice Mega, I saw your comment, and I have to say I applaud you. What a well-rounded and mature comment it was. Absolutely spot on. Also, what is with the hate for cosplayers? I don't get how people dress up for birthdays, hen/stag do's, festivals, carnivals and sports events yet we get the narrow-minded view from a lot of others.
  5. I certainly replied on their comments! Let's see if they even put it up lol.
  6. I know someone on the youtube comments is keeping a list but there's no offical one. I can tell you every one that I know if you like. lol Then others can add characters they recognise. That way we can MAKE a list. lol *shrug*
  7. Hey, you looked fab glad we got a pic or two with you :)
  8. Hey Damius! You guys rocked for posing with us ladies. Jemma is just sorting photos tonight so there might be a few about. I know that our camera had run outta charge just after the junior masquerade so we didn't get any during your turn
  9. My girl and I saw Justin Lee Collins on the way back from the theatre saturday night! He is so lovely.
  10. Oh yeah! I remember now Good job though, those juniors were so cuuuuuuute!
  11. Absolutely, nothing wll stop me now! Apart from my lack of sewing skill
  12. I was Rocket (Sucker Punch) on Saturday, and plain clothes while wandering around with my lovely Jessica Rabbit on Sunday! http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=776318100 Add me if ya know me!
  13. I would also like to pitch in and say thanks to everyone who made my first time in cosplay a hugely enjoyable time. I was dressed as Rocket on Saturday, and the amount of attendees who were complimentary and loved the work I put in was astounding. Also, to all the other cosplayers I met during the day, and the Masquerade, thank you! I didn't know quite what to expect from the event, and I didn't know whether there would be "cliques", but every one of you was great to talk to, and really supportive of each other. There was such a great feeling of community and respect. And I made some like-minded friends too! Yay!
  14. The bacon tree joke rocked my socks lol. I agree the guys did the best they could under the circumstances. Having the delay thrown on them, and not knowing how long it would last, daunted them but I think they tried really hard. Azdeha were you the one organising the queue and giving out numbers? Kudos to you if so, that must have been a nightmare to sort out! We could have done with more space to queue as there were queues for other things squeezed in beside us, and I know poor Marlboro-Man and Hippogriff had a job getting through. I bet the ladies in the swishy floofy dresses had the same problem. I also noticed the amount of people gathering to take pics of all the cosplayers. All in all, a very crowded area. That also ties into the masquerade area itself. The event was way more popular than I think anyone thought it would be, and that must be taken into account for the next event. Like Vamp-Rouge said, I made my music as if I would be walking down the centre (which would also give the audience more of a close up). But that would not have been possible for the sheer amount of people there standing. And then the stage was a little too small to really show off. As for the card tournament area, I thought it was a bit too big for purpose. Most people I saw there were eating or resting their legs (I know, I did it too!). I thought the origami club was a nice addition though :) All in all, a few niggly things, but nothing that can't be rectified for next time :)
  15. Big up from Rocket, was you one of the lovely people asking politely for photos? Myself, Madame Gorski and our lovely tagalong Babydoll didn't stop all day when it came to being photographed. Nice to see we made people happy
