arw2010
Hi all. I'm new to all this convention thing but was attracted by the DS record attempt. My question is how do I book a car parking space at earl's court on the day? http://www.eco.co.uk/p/parking/173 makes no mention of the event at all. Closest thing is booking parking at an retirement convention over at olympia on the 17th. hmmm Any other local car parks I could book in advance? Thanks a lot all! arw2010
Queen_Sindel
Oh dear, that happened two or three years ago as well. For some reason the event wouldn't show up in the list. Don't use the event at Olympia, that's quite a distance. I know online booking is more convenient, but the website is giving a phone number. Any chance you can call? Some of the local hotels have car parks, but they are pretty expensive. If I recally correctly a lot of others have recommended parking somewhere at an outer London Tube station and then coming in by Tube. But I am sure someone coming in by car will come in with better details shortly.
adriangill
I always use the Earls Court parking, P1 Yellow Car Park or P2 Red Car Park. I don't know about other parking options, sorry. I have just e-mailed Earls Court asking them to add the event to the online parking options. I will let you know when (if) they reply. I recall having to do this for parking at Olympia for Collectormania London last year as that wasn't showing at the time either I wonder how many consecutive sentences I can start with 'I'! I think I will stop now! Edited June 3, 2010 by 1of2
