nightshadewolf
First: Not suggesting that you dig up Jane Austen and you put her bones on display. That would be a grim sight, indeed. With Pride and Prejudice and Zombies due to be released, I'd love to see the stars of various period dramas appear at a convention for a bit of a Jane Austen meet up. There are so many fantastic productions that have been released on television and on the silver screen that don't always get the recognition they deserve. I think everyone knows Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth in a wet shirt of course) and Sense and Sensibility (Alan Rickman being the good guy for a change, if a little tormented), but there are so many others from Austen, Bronte, and beyond. What about Heathcliff and Kathy on the moors? Where is Anne Elliot breaking her heart for her lost love Captain Wentworth in Persuasion? Who could forget the mysteries of Northanger Abbey? Who will fight for the freedoms of the poor girl locked in Mansfield Park? Where is our Mr. John Thornton of North and South? Who is truly to blame for the brutal murder of Captain Denny in Death Comes to Pemberly? Will we travel back in time if we're Lost in Austen? Or can we just find our way to Austenland? Daniel Deronda, Little Dorritt, A Room With A View, Becoming Jane, Emma, Miss Austen Regrets, Miss Potter, Little Women, and The Importance of Being Earnest. Can we hear it for the classics? ptenbob
I saw a meme I enjoyed so much... I bought the factory. Unfortunately, that was just before the Great Meme Crash of '08, but we rebuilt and now managed to have a modest operation, churning out 1 brand new meme every decade. The next one is due for release in 2023. On a Tuesday.
nightshadewolf
I should have time to get enough points before 2023 for a meme. Is there a long waiting list?
