My Post was Removed. Why?

Recommended Posts

I'm aware this will probably be taken down or locked or whatever, but I wanted to bring it to peoples' attention.

Yesterday I started a post titled 'A Critique of LFCC 2015 (Tips for Improvement)' and today I found it was taken down. Although unsurprising, I was a bit miffed.

The post had well over 50 replies highlighting serious flaws and problems with the con, and it being deleted makes me think that SM haven't even read it and don't care about listening to their customers. All they see is the money.

The event was not a disaster, but it was far from perfect - there were some very serious problems with the show that need to be fixed! Can a mod please tell me, honestly, why was the post removed? I wasn't attacking SM, I was very balanced in my statements and even congratulated them on several aspects of the show.

Criticisms need to be looked at so the show improves year after year. If nothing is done from this year to the next, I certainly won't be attending LFCC '16, no matter what guests are going.

It seems to me that SM are just palming off these complaints, so I'm quite annoyed at my post being removed. Not even locked, completely removed, presumably so people wouldn't see the criticisms I and several others had made.

An explanation would be appreciated.

As has been stated elsewhere - sometimes things go off on a tangent and there's too much to be edited or deleted unfortunately.

However while something may be removed, they are kept for SM to be able to read, so nothing's being ignored.
