autograph valuations

Hi

since I started coming to these shows 8 years ago I have acquired many autographs and was thinking of adding them to my house insurance in case the worst happens. I was wondering if anyone has any idea where to get them valued or how I go about getting them appraised to be added to insurance?

the best advice is to keep a track of what you paid for them. Keep an eye on the showmasters forums to see if fees for any return guests are going up or periodically you can do a search for completed ebay sales to see what they are selling for and adjust value accordingly if needed. As long as, if the worst happened, you got back the value you spent then you're not out of pocket.
