Travel Warning

Thought I would just post this now as to make sure those travelling from London are aware.

 

Currently there is flooding between London and Reading on the train lines , meaning travel to Cardiff is chaotic. Hopefully it will be fine by the time of the convention but best everyone keeps an eye on the travel updates so they make other arrangements or cancel early enough to not lose possible refunds.

I hope it's ok to add info about some of the other train lines here?

 

Currently no service between Taunton and Bridgwater due to flooding.

No service between Newton Addot and Exeter St. D due to Dawlish line collapse.(Will not be resolved before con)

No service between Fareham and Eastleigh, due to land slip.

 

Limited service between Exeter and Bristol.

Limited service between Didcot and Oxford.

Limited service/delays in Staines area.

 

These are subject to change of course, and I've probably missed some places.

what about trains from swindon to cardiff?

Only services from London seem to be affected due to flooding at Maidenhead. Trains are getting through but only once an hour and still subject to delays.

 

Weather is meant to be sticking around and could still get worse. So thought best get this thread up so people are aware.
