weezer
Hey everyone! I have never been to any kind of film or comic convention before but want to go to this one. I am wondering if there would be any point in me going if I am not wanting autographs/photos? In other words, aside from the autographs/photos with stars, is there still a lot to do and see? Also, what is the advantage of getting an early entry ticket (it's just 2 hours earlier, right)? Thanks! :)
Satchel Pooch
Aside from the actors there is the stalls - and a lot of them. You would not be the only one coming just for the merchandise. There is also auctions, games and costume contest. If you are not meeting any actors, then I don't think there is any reason to buy an early bird ticket - unless there is something specific you want to buy, that may sell out. MinkyKnights
There are also free talks from lots of guests. To gain entry to these, you need to pick up a ticket (one for each talk). To be sure of getting into the more popular guest talks, you might want to consider early entry, as the tickets are given out from 9am. Otherwise, 11am entry should do you just fine. KrazyKid197
I went to... six? of these before I ended up with any autographs at all. And even now I'm not really an autograph collector. There can be lots of reasons to go that aren't to buy autographs. :)
