Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney is in the UK Sept and Oct - how about approaching him to attend Autographica for a day - I know he attends many such events in the States.

Having been a huge fan for many years I would normally have agreed but having met him at another event in the UK last year, I was very disappointed. He appeared to have no interest in being there and had very little time for the people who met him. Others too commented on how unapproachable he seemed. I fully appreciate (and hope) that this may have been an off day/weekend and indeed, other people I know have indicated that he was very approachable when they have met him elsewhere. Nevertheless, following that experience I would have to think hard about paying to meet him again.

When I met Mickey Rooney, he was fine for me, he signed what I wanted & he happily posed for a photo, but yes i'd like to meet this legend again & i'd like to get my autograph book done.

I have spoken to his agent. When the October show is on he is taking a break from his tour. Unless more US tour dates are added in 2008 he might might be available for the March show.
