doctor who meets sherlock holmes?

...how many times,if at all,the good doctor has met the great detective?

i'm doing some comic strip samples for the doctor who magazine... and want to keep the continuity in check.

cos i'm anal like that.

As far as I know, the Doctor has never met Sherlock Holmes (be an interesting story though, seeing that he never existed!) Maybe the Doctor could get stuck in another "land of fiction?" I think he did meet Arthur Conan Doyle though, if memory serves.. there wasn't a story about ACD but im sure the doc mentioned meeting him once..

The Doctor has met him twice that we know of, the first time in All-Consuming Fire

 

 

and then again when he attended the wedding of the Doctor's companion Benny in Happy Endings
