Showmasters, please give us a Supernatural con. We've all been such good people this year, we deserve it! Please...?

That's the thing about different fan groups. Some WANT a con. It doesn't matter to them which guests, they just want an event with any guests. This is the case with Twilight. Other fan groups like the Lost and Heroes fans will wait for the guests before buying tickets. And before anyone takes offence, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with this I'm just explaining the difference in the fans. Supernatural fans come over like Twilight fans in that they just want an event and will buy tickets just because it's a SPN event, not wait for specific guests. I believe Harry Potter fans would be the same. As an event organiser it's great when you find a fan group like that because it makes running the event so must easier and makes it so much easier to get the big names (without having to take a big risk). I guess we'll see what happens I agree with this. Its not about the guests SM could/would get, its so much more to do with the fact that I know I will have a good time at a properly and professionally organised Supernatural convention. Its very hard to enjoy a weekend of queueing, yelling and stress, no matter how amazing the guests are. I think SPN fans have had a rough ride these last few years, I think we deserve better! We DESERVE a showmasters Supernatural convention, dammit! (Please? Thank you! *pleads, begs etc etc*)

And who else do we blame for the fiasco in Birmingham the other week? You flamed me in the past for saying it, but now I got over 1,500 people who had a miserable time agreeing with me! Supernatural fans deserve a first rate event, and an unprofessional, ameturish and shoddy cash in. It needs to be Showmasters / Massive Events! Acceptr no substitute. I have always had a great time at SM/ME cons (and that other organiser too!) and last weekend was a massive anti-climax and quite a nasty experience for me. Thats not what you pay a lot of money for. Especially, for me, the photo shoots. At C15 yesterday, ever shot I had taken came out really nicely and Im over the moon with them - I only got one good shot at the Spn con. (With Micha.) I love SPN, it's my fave US show by far. I think the SPN fans deserve a well planned, professional event. Please SM, help us out here! And re the fan girls. If the rules are actually enforced and they are told off for bad behaviour instead of ignored and allowed to run riot, then maybe they would behave better. Just a thought.

Trouble is, there really is no excuse for him missing the fact that some people blinked in their pics is there? Myself, in my "Winchester Squeeze" pic (what a laugh that is!), my hair is floopping down over my face. The pic is awful. The photographer actually CHECKED the pic and said to me "Yep, that's fine!" It clearly wasn't! But I didn't want to moan to him cos looking at others pics, I was one of the lucky ones! If the SM photographer had been working the con, people would have been a lot happier and feel that splashing out £60.00 for a photo was worth it. Sorry, but thats just the truth of it. SM - please run a SPN con. Although I am concerned as to whether we'd ever get Jensen and Jared back considering how they and their fans were treated over the weekend...

Magenta, thanks for the back up. and in the current climate some people need to bring the nescafe within distance of their hooter ill no doubt get into bother for this just because almost every black person got off their ar5e to vote in many cases for the first time because the whitest black man ive ever seen was up during the election does not make the world a better place than it was this time last week So, is it black people in general you have a problem with then? Or just those on TV? Have you seen Hairspray? You'd hate that movie... I'm thinking this debate will get me nowhere. Back to work.

I have no problem with a black Doctor, so long as he can act. A woman though.. no, just no. I don't really understand why fans think this would be a good idea? The Doctor is a Time LORD, the Master is a Time LORD, Romana is a Time LADY, Susan is a Time LADY! There are male and female Gallifreyans and the Doctor is a male! It's as simple as that really! I guess you're a bit too late, considering that Paul McGann is a scouser, or doesnt he count? oh yeah and .....TOM BAKER is a scouser too As for the black Doctor debate, who has the right to say a black doctor wont be good or popular or successful, last time i remember a good story is usually based on good writing and good acting, and anyone who thinks DW will be awful if a black actor plays him obviously hasn't crawled out of the 20th century. and before you ask, ive been watching DW since i was a toddler When i refer to a scouser i mean someone with a thick scouse accent ...you know the type - professional scousers Im well aware that TB and PM and indeed Ms Sladen are from Liverpool but all hardly sound like they come from liverpool do they ...thats the first thing they got rid of and im not that up on McGanns career or his 2 hrs as the Doc...the only work of his apart from that i have seen is Withnall ive had this debate on other forums im not alone with my thoughts on this kind of casting the majority of viewers will be cold towards a black Doc thats just the way it is just look at Martha..i liked her but did she have the same popularity as Tate and Piper? no did her screen family? no theres something going on there Personally im tired of trendy media types casting black people in roles for impact and if a black doc loses viewers im sure there will be a huge increase in viewers from some areas if there is a black Doc just look at the first time voters this week in the US is it because i is black? after reading about who actually voted Obama yes it indeed is Martha didn't go down as well as Rose or Donna because a. she wasn't already famous and b. her character was simply not interesting enough. Plus, Mickey and Tosh were both popular characters. To suggest Martha wasn't as popular cos she is black is insulting if you ask me. we are still working on guests for this show, but lots of things have happened sins that statment and we had hoped for one big guests to be agreed with in a few weeks after i came on here to say that, i am still talking to them but i am wondring if this guests will be around for this show now ?, it was all looking good some weeks ago ?, anyway we will see, its not dead yet but, i will keep you in the loop and we will see if we can pull the rabbit out of the hat ? talk soon jason VERY interesting jason. hope its a good 1, and not a harry potter guest lol..or another dr who guest like david tennant or something. boo David Tennant?
