Purple Cheese Monkey
I have just bought myself all the Star Trek movies on the Special Edition 2-disc dvds, as I was dissapointed with the last few times they've been released, with having next to no extra features. Anyway, does anyone know why all the dvds come in the silver slip-cases except for The Motion Picture? I've been looking around in case its just the shops I've been to have had the slip-case missing on the first film, but it appears to be all copies of the Motion Picture. It just seems a bit out of place in my collection, with having TWOK - Nemesis all matching in the slip-casing. This is really just a question for any dvd buffs out there. Thanks for any help
Colonel Jack O'Neill
Afraid it was never released with a slipcase as it was the first of their 2 Disc Editions and they only decided on the packaging with Wrath of Khan, that is why it doesnt match up. Personally I couldnt stand it so sold all my 2 Disc Editions on eBay and bought the 20 Disc Movie Collection from Australia for £
Purple Cheese Monkey
Thanks Colonel, I was going to buy the complete movies boxed set on Play.com, but I found that HMV have all the 2-disc editions in their sale at £7.99 each, So I thought I'd buy them now at that price. Thanks again, PCM
