DavidSimons
This is my 1st post so.... Hi to everyone! I have tickets for lotr fellowship of the ring screening on sunday. just wonderin what 2 expect from people who went 2 a screening last year. what happens, how long is it and how early do u hav 2 get there before it starts!! Hi there Kiirsty, welcome to the friendly nuthouse we call the Collectormania forum . For my sins (far too many of those to list here ) I'm running the talks at C4. So i'll do my best to answer your questions. The talks/screenings start at 6:30pm They will consist of a talk, lasting approx. one hour. The LOTR talks will then be followed by a film. Door to the talks open at around 6p.m. to give everyone a chance to get in and get settled before the guests arrive. Each talk only seats 200 people so it won't take long to get everyone in and no one will be far from the guests. As such there's no need to get there before 6pm. If you've any other question, let me know and I'll sort them for you. Have fun and look forward to seeing you at the talks. David
yeltz-lass
Um - I'm a bit embarrassed about asking this in case you think I'm - literally - taking the ****, but will there be a chance for a pee break between the Q&A talk and the screening? No we intend to lock the doors and allow no one out. OK. I'm kidding Yes there will be a short break between the talk and the film to allow people to get refreshed (or buy snacks from the cinema shop). Okay I have a question, but this has probably been asked a million times, so here's a Million and one. Are the Hobbits going to stay and watch the movie with everyone as well? Or are they just gonna talk and then leave? Oh and if they stay can people sit by them? Mmmmmm, No behaving there! Hell I won't even be there and I still won't behave . No, they won't be staying for the screenings, Rachie - and the hobbits have another engagement on the Saturday night so they couldn't stay anyway. Unfortunately the actors can't stay to watch the films as they have another engagement at 8pm in the evening. So they need to leave reasonably promptly at 7:30. We're trying to decide between a free for all, where the winner gets to choose their own Hobbit or a bribery system.
verticalflower
If the actors have to leave at 7.30pm to be someplace else for 8pm then I'm assuming that this other engagement is in Milton Keynes? Either that or they're Superman
