I was Isabela from Dragon age 2 on saturday, but I did get some amazing photos!

Just had to say, I got Dragon Age 2 for my birthday so I've been playing it lately. I loved Isabella from her concept art alone but now I love her character even more. She's so bawdy. lol So, I can now fully appreciate your costume when Ii see it. WOOOO ANOTHER DA FAN! XD completely obsessed with that game. I'll give you some tips if you get stuck ^^, also, yayy!! she's such an amazing character when you actually take her along. I love the way she cheats at diamondback and freely admits it ^^, please say hello!!

I think its all part of the fun, personally. For me, I don't do it only for the attention, I do it to show my devotion to a character I love and to meet similar minded people, and generally have fun, but the photos and attention is all part of the fun! but thats just me ^^, Thank you. The reason I ask is, for the first time in my life, I put a bit of effort into a costume for Hallowhedon 2 last October and was astonished at the number of photo requests I got. If I'm honest, I loved the attention, which is quite out of character for me. I'd love to get my photo taken with a few of the Batman villainesses, but I didn't want to just assume that all cosplayers would welcome the attention. Anyway, it sounds like you're all wearing those costumes on the Sunday, so I'll miss out, as I'm only at LFCC on the Saturday. well, I'll be Isabela from Dragon Age 2 on Saturday so make sure you say hello! and don't worry, the attention is great, its all part of it. We al love it to a certain extent, I think.

Oh no, would have been great if you'd been Harley as I'm planning on doing Ivy for a bit! Essentially I have no time between exams finishing and LFCC in which to finish my Wonder Woman costume so I won't be able to do it but I'm going to whack out my Poison Ivy, and hopefully have time to make an accurate bottom-half by then!. Hmm not sure how to make that picture smaller, sorry guys Well it looks amazing, and I'm sure there'll be a Harley somewhere. It'll be my first time cosplaying anything that isn't Harley Quinn, so yeah, I'm pretty excited, though I seem to be going from one extreme to the other- on Saturday I'll be Isabela from Dragon age 2 who wears little, but on Sunday I'll be Catwoman, so I'll be roasting!!

Costumes are looking fantastic, folks! I''ve just finished painting my armour, adding straps and changing gloves/boots for Isabela DA2, just waiting for a back strap thing for my daggers to come, modify the shirt accordingly et voila! Isabela will be ready! (Catwoman has ben ready for months ^^,) My boyfriend is coming as a warhammer empire priest of sigma, and a friend is coming as Zatanna. Just to add variety to the suckerpunch/Amy Ponds (both of which I am looking forward to seeing)

OMG a full disney group?? I may in fact have a giggle fit! Do you mean that in a good way or a bad way?? XD! And yes... I got a disney group organised..so far there are 12 definite people including myself and 2 people are maybe's for whatever reason ! It's nothing on the 18 people that are in a disney group for this weekend's event though! But hopefully we can get more people involved as we definitely need more of the princes/heroes in the group! We're only about 4 people away from having all the princesses in the group! GOD that would be amazing (and good way, btw) who do you need??

Just come anyhow, I found out that (most of) the visitors won't bite. Just prove your friends wrong, have a good time with new friends and show them afterwards what they missed. (been there on myself few times) What tartarus said. You should come anyway. Agreed. come anyway, you meet so many new people! Was it you who was doing Catwoman I was gonna get pics with on the saturday in my Batwoman costume? If so that may alter my plans. Hmm lol Oh, I do apologise! Its just I'm in love with Dragon age 2 and I REALLY wanna do it on the saturday!

I must admit, I have the same experience. I loved it as a child, and now it just makes me want to hide. I think the 2 worst parts are- Bane. COME ON!! Bane not only broke the Batman but he is extremely clever and educated, not a 2 syllable monkey! and the amount of ice puns. That makes me cry. not literally, of course. Though very nearly...) Anyway, I can't wait for the new Batman film and, as a MASSIVE Harley Quinn fan I'm hoping she gets a mention...even just a 'will Dr Quinzel please report to the pychiatric ward...'.....XD Anyway, back on topic, you'll see me in my avatar Na'vi on the sunday (mainly cos the makeup is too complicated to do on a Saturday morning- I need time) can't wait to see you there!

Well, now I know what day to wear which costume. Batwoman will be saturday so that we can look out for each other. ;-) Of course! Remind me of this when you see me too so that I'll know who it is? (Then post the pics ;-)) I'm being told by friends to do the Jessica Rabbit so I guess that'll be sunday. I'm still very tempted to do Arkham Ivy but I don't like changing during the day so I'll stick to one costume a day. Maybe work on Ivy for something else. Stupid as it may sound but have never personally cosplayed but have friends that do so always like to see peoples outfits and so like to get involved in the forum chats about it. Robin would be cool to do though not sure which would be best, classic 60's tv version or comic version circa Tim Drake. Certainly not Chris O Donell version!! Haha :) I think Batwoman's a definite. I love that costume so need to use it more. I actually took my mum's friends' kids out for halloween just to have an excuse to wear it again. lol It's funny you should mention Barbra Gordon. As I read your comment I was wearing my Bat-Symbol t-shirt and my reading glasses, which I chose because they made me feel like Barbra Gordon. lol ;-) Lol! spooky! Can't wait to see batwoman!!
