Wow, this sucks for everyone involved The fans who were looking forward to meeting HIC, but imho most of all Showmasters. They're trying SO hard, but the circumstances for this event have been very unfortunate up till now. I never did get what everyone meant with not going to a convention for specific guests, but for a show or experience as a whole. I do after having attended Eclipse. Jessalyn Gilsig, arguably the least interesting guest from a Heroes POV, was by far the best guest to me. She was amazing to talk to, had some great stories to share and was just very humbled to be there (as were the other guests btw, but she stood out). I really do hope a replacement can be found on such short notice, but either way I am positive the event will be a blast. The fans deserve it but so does Showmasters for their hard work. Jason, don't let one person let you get so down. We didn't meet at Eclipse but I was incredibly impressed by you when you spoke on stage as well as how the event was run as a whole. You guys may have gotten me addicted to conventions for life.

I'd love a D V D Anders too! (and of course am willing to pay for it)

There's of course never confirmation until an official announcement, but Showmasters did say they want 2 Eclipse events each year until they've brought the entire cast over

And they told me if their would be enough good footage it would be released on DVD. Otherwise they will "just" play it at other Showmasters events very much like they did with talks from for example Jimmy Jean Louis on screens in the bar area throughout the weekend.

I've been wondering about Pandora's Box... What if she was actually referring to the vault that was opened? I've been dying to know what all the other items inside of it mean and if they're potentially just as harmful as the vial of virus. Who knows, the news she was watching on TV could've been old/faked (we don't know what time has passed between Nathan getting shot and the phone call) and she could've been talking to an alive and kicking Nathan on the phone. JULES VERNE TRAILER SPOILER ALERT!!! I am hoping the upmars of the villains doesn't necessarily mean they'll focus on all the villains from the Jules Verne trailer (in which they say something along the lines of "it's like 12 Sylars running around"), but mainly the established ones: Sylar and Adam (if they can somehow meet that'd be awesome!)

The thing is though, in the computer minded world nowadays it's very reasonable to assume everything will end up on the Internet at one point. In the case of conventions; people want to share stuff with their friends or get asked about it by other fans who couldn't attend but are dying to know what happened. If not in video form, written transcribes will pop up (and have already) from people who took notes for instance. Not sure if that was forbidden in the rules as well, but it doesn't come to mind this instantly. I understand where everyone's coming from, I really do, but I still think this whole thread is getting out of control for the issue it is and we should let Showmasters handle it as well as decide on how to inform people in the future and take other actions if they feel these are necessary.

I saw her room and compared to mine the only difference was two extra chairs (which actually made the room seem smaller, because it was so full), a bottle of water and a rubber duck in the bath room o.O Good luck sorting it out!

Upgraded business rooms were 70 a night, even during Eclipse. My friend had one too, but was informed of the higher price beforehand. You should see if you're able to check the type of room they gave you!

Yup I did read, thanks for asking though. Repeating the rules doesn't make a difference to the original poster, or they would've refrained from posting it in the first place. Only Showmasters or David's represantatives could potentially get the video removed or take otherwise actions, but, only if they decide the issue is important enough to do so. I am not saying everyone's offering suggestions to help out Showmasters, I am merely stating it's pointless to go on about how right or wrong it may be as the only people it can potentially harm (or like it--in the case of the Allison Mack example) are Showmasters and David & his represantatives. They are the ones deciding how right/wrong/awesome/end-of-the-world type of issue this is. Not any of us.

I can't believe this is still being argued. Didn't everyone agree it's wrong to put it up anyway? Saying: "It's not the end of the world" does in no way equal "breaking the rules is fine", it's just putting the issue in perspective. But just think of it: even though it might not be cool, it happened. And we all know it's really not the biggest sin. Besides, if it's truly such a big deal as some of you try to get across I am absolutely positive Showmasters can deal with it themselves. Fighting a fight for them, on this forum or on YouTube, to me only shows you think they (or David's management, on anyone else involved for that matter) lack the capabaility to decide for themselves how to handle this specific matter and how to maybe take precautionary measures at cons in the future.

Wow, I feel so lucky. We "just" had a standard room, but no peeling wallpaper, no cigarette burns, nothing broken or dirty. It was perfectly fine actually...

I wonder how fast it's going to be sold out. With the already sold numbers posted elesewhere I fear it's going to be very, very fast (and I can't figure out just yet if I can somewhow return to Europe in November when I am spending some time at the other side of the world o.O)

Totally agree on songs used for Heroes. "Eyes", "Don't Matter to the Sun", etc. And also Nickelback's "If Everyone Cares" which was used for the promo for "Five Years Gone."

That depends... should the attendees be able to move? Thats sounds like a challenge!! So who is up for seeing how many people we can get in their standard rooms. I work for a hotel company and have thrown 30 people of out a room before, so we need to bet that! Do we get bonus points if any of the Heroes guests are squeezed in as well?

I agree I wish they were more like the McFarlane LOST figures (at least, I have Charlie from that one and I think it looks very well). Then again, if I run into the Sylar and Mohinder figures cheap somewhere I'll probably get them anyway :\
