Can someone please tell me if there is a slight chance Cary Elwes will be at a convention this year?! PLEASE! This year marks The Princess Bride 25th Anniversary, I have said this before but I'll say it again. Wouldnt it be great to have a few stars from the film. Robin Wright, Chris Sarandon, Chris Guest, Fred Savage. And of course The Elwes!

I'd be disappointed if it was him. Don't think he's been a 'very big' since the mid 1980s. The only one I've heard of is Rhona Mitra. Wouldnt class her as 'very big' either. Wasn't the last BIG guest announcment Scott Bakula? Although I appreciated his value to the convention community, yes he was big in that sense...if you were into the two TV shows he was known for. Scott Bakula was a very big guest. I was so bummed I couldn't go As it's been said before. It is always somebodys perfect guest,and if the person isn't to everyones taste that's their problem. You can't satisfy everyone. It must be damn hard to get A list stars to come,most often from the States. I have been truly amazed at who has attended so far.

Ewan McGregor would be amazing. Any of these guys and I would flip my lid with excitement. But whoever it is well done Showmasters for the guests you bring. Always somebody's hero. And that's what makes these events so special! Val Kilmer Michael Keaton Chrstian Bale Gary Oldman Hugh Jackman

When I met him he said he was so impressed that people came especially to see him. It would not be hard to get him back as long as it didn't clash with any filming dates. Since Collectormnia(which was his first con) he hasn't stopped. He's doing his third one in July in the States. He loves it!

I think Ewan being there, I would pay £50 easily. It would be great for my boys who are Star Wars obsessed. He has such a range of fans so that would be a massive draw. Yes,It is a lot of money. But I think if you want a major star to appear the costs have to be covered. Imagine a Ewan and Hayden photoshoot!! they could charge what they liked and people would still pay.I wouldn't be fussed with paying a lot for the others. But that is my personal taste. Great if Ewan can make it!!!

Yes you are right. It would be hard to have a con,but do you think it would be possible to ask if they could come to a collectormania or London Film and Comic Con next year? I'm sure Cary Elwes and Robin Wright would come,as they both love that film. It would be so wonderful! There could even be cosplayers re-enacting the famous sword scene between Inigo and The Dread Pirate Roberts!!! The possibilities are endless!!

Showmasters! 2012 marks the 25th anniversary of The Princess Bride. Is there any possibility you could try and see if the actors could come to a reunion of some kind. It would be amazing!!!!

My top guesses are Michael J Fox The reason for this is that Lea and Christopher will be there,and he has never come to the UK before to a convention.It would be one of my wildest dreams to meet him. My two kids adore him in BTTF Sigourney Weaver- Sigourney was the person I thought of immediately. But, using the word "fantastic" makes me think it could be her(that wasn't used for Cary! Hmph! ) That would make my jaw drop if it was her.... Hugh Jackman comes to mind also,as I know he is in the country promoting a charity. Wow. That would be cool. Simon Pegg. Homegrown talent. Simon I bet would be awesome! Here are some random names I immediately thought of! Edward Furlong???? Arnie-I would be on the floor if he came!! Although I think its unlikely Mark Hamill Harrison Ford!!! I have no clue other than these....

My first guest was Cary! I have only been to the Collectormania event that was held last year in London. I really hope to meet him again as he was so brilliant and chatty. Please bring him back (*on knees*)
