    I seem to recall that after her spate of cancellations SM said they would no longer deal with her. Yes, they did, but time heals all wounds and hope springs eternal. I have more banal platitudes if needed.

    Ha! I go to Pompoko far too often. In fact, I'm meeting friends there tomorrow night before seeing Foxes at Concorde 2.

    Dave's is def worth a visit. The staff aren't the best in the world, but they've got a decent range of comics and graphic novels.

    Isn't there a side entrance / delivery entrance on Cannon place where the queues could go up the street? The multi-storey car parks exit onto Cannon Place, which would make queuing there a little dangerous, and I suspect the entrance will be on the opposite side anyway, by the French church, but the Hilton's own car park comes out there.

    A few of us had a wander around (and through) the Hilton yesterday afternoon. The halls are comfortably large enough to host a convention of this size, but I'm a little worried about how the queues outside the venue are going to be managed. There's not a lot of space out there.

    No shortage of nightlife in central Brighton. West Street is busy, but a little dodgy, but there's plenty in the Lanes, on either side of North Street. You'll definitely find something for everyone.
