  1. Kelly Brook was in Smallville, a sci-fi kinda show, so she could attend!!!!! But she's mine ya hear? Mine mine mine! (Goes into Daffy Duck mode!) Obi-Wan
  2. Hands off Kelly's mine! Have you read about my meetings with Kelly Brook? Have a look on the Obi-Wan's photo thread. Obi-Wan
  3. I saw Corey Feldman in Hollywood in 1993. He was sat in a screening of a Macauley Culkin/Elijah Wood thriller called 'The Good Son' in Mann's (Graumann's) Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard and had his arm around this bloke the entire length of the movie. He also left the theatre arm in arm with the bloke, and was wearing these John Lennon type sunglasses the entire time with little purple Hexagons in the middle. Obi-Wan
  4. I could have told you that Obi Wan. He was in the newsapaper yesterday, something about tearing around Cannes on a motorbike. Darryl Ah I see. Sorry Darryl I rarely read the newspapers or I would have known that too, instead of going straight to my contact. Doh! Obi-Wan
  5. That's great Pippin We have similar stories then! The Hayden signed Anakin figure is especially important to me because Lucasfilm had put a strict release date on Episode II action figures of April 23rd 2002. However I managed to find a Woolworths store that let some slip out onto the shelves on April 7th and I snapped them all up and took the figure to Hayden on 18th which is when he proclaimed 'I'm a toy??? Wow!' and grabbed the figure off me to check his likeness before he signed it. Hayden flew back to Toronto on Sunday April 21st and the merchandise was officially released at midnight on Monday/Tuesday 22nd going into 23rd April 2002. Obi-Wan
  6. I am quite aware that it is a collectors fair, that is the main reason for our attending, but when you can't get to the stalls to actually buy anything, or are being constantly hit by pushchairs and people crowding to push past one another it becomes uncomfortable and we gave up looking. I have at least three friends there who were running dealers stalls, plus the people that I know from attending other shows and they all agreed with me that things were too tightly packed in the dealers area. Maybe the guests signing area could be moved outwards a little allowing these stalls more room. Regardless the dealers area WAS cramped. Obi-Wan
  7. Hi Cazzie. Just wanted to say that James has been coming to the UK for at least the past 4 years without fail. I've met him twice, he was also at last years SFX Event in Blackpool, and at another con this year. So I wouldn't be too surprised to see him at a future Collectormania. He starts work on Angel, (now that Buffy is in its last season) in July, so I'm not sure how his schedule will be fixed for C4, but it might be worth a try. He's a great laugh, especially when giving talks. Check out my photo page on http://groups.msn.com/ObiWansCelebrityPhot...hoto&PhotoID=94 to see a pic of me with James taken about 2 years ago. All the best Obi-Wan
  8. Okay. Let me know if you're gonna go to it. I might, depends on guest announcements though. What day are you going to David Boreanaz? I'm there on the Friday only. Obi-Wan
  9. (In Dr.Evil voice) RRrrriiiigghhhhhtt! lol Obi-Wan
  10. Sorry that should read I met him around 97/98 - damn that DeLorean! Obi-Wan & Doc Emmet Brown
  11. Okay I'll be a minute or two and send the info over. Obi-Wan
  12. He was very nice. I met him back around 87/88 and his hands were very shakey so I have a shakey signature in my Art of Star Wars book, but yeah he is a legend, so it was great to meet him. Thanks for looking at the pics! Obi-Wan
  13. I do, but is it fair to Showmasters to place the info on this board? do u have an email? It's still really, and I stress, really early days yet. But I have the convention webaddress. Obi-Wan
  14. Darryl are you aware that a 24 convention is being planned for next year in London? No names have been announced yet but who knows maybe Kiefer could turn up. Obi-Wan
  15. I haven't got a Dr Clue! Obi-Wan
  16. Basically I don't give a damn what happens to them when I'm gone. All I know is that for now getting them personalised to my wife and myself makes us happy, and when you're dead, you're dead and you can't care what happens to them then. Personally I'd have to be in a pretty sad state of affairs if I had to sell them anyway. That's just my point of view. I think to each their own is the way this can be summed up. By the way hum3z who have you had sign your Star Wars figures. I have a few signed, but after a while I ran out of room to display them. My most treasured ones though is my Ewan McGregor signed 'Soft Goods' Episode I Obi-Wan, and my Hayden Christensen signed Anakin Peasent Disguise, which Hayden confirmed was the first figure he had signed in the world at that time. Obi-Wan
  17. I'll be at two of those too Darryl! Obi-Wan
  18. I've just spoken to one of his contacts who has told me that Ewan is currently in Cannes promoting Young Adam, and he should be off to Australia shortly to begin work on EPIII. Hope that helps. Obi-Wan
  19. I had that photo enlarged and went back to Kelly's very last show at MTV Select where she autographed it for me. It now has a permanent place on my living room wall! But just to really make you really envious, Kelly smiled and said 'Hi' as she recognised me when I returned, (This was before I had even shown her the photo), as she remembered I had kissed her on the day the photo was taken. My mate who took the photograph kept repeating 'I can't believe you just kissed Kelly Brook' all the way back. Obi-Wan
  20. Have to disagree with you there Adam. After all Showmasters had booked Leslie Grantham and advertised him as Dirty Den from Eastenders. He isn't really a name associated with Sci-Fi is he? I see no reason why soap stars or other TV stars shouldn't attend if people want to see them. I think of Collectormania as an event for cult and popular film and television shows. Obi-Wan
