It was a good event but waay too cold and a kinda grim looking venue. Certainly not the best CM I've ever been to. But I appreciate that it nearly didn't happen and that there was no charge to enter the venue, unlike other events such as Collectables. But Jesus Christ Jason, you need to take an evening English class! Your spelling and punctuation are terrible fella!

Regarding the white board at Bruces table. Did you see that he wouldn't sign a few comic titles? Thought it was interesting that he wouldn't sign some selected comics. I spoke to my buddy who owns a comic shop and he says it's something to do with no royalties going to Bruce on those titles. I suppose you would feel that way of they were using your image and you were not rewarded. Steve

I was merely stating the obvious that I was picking up a picture of me, dressed exactly the same as I was in the picture and being asked to provide the teensy bit of paper to prove the fact that it was me was ridiculous 3. - I am well aware that the crew staff are not paid, I value their assistance and I think you'll find that Luke was not offended nor upset regarding my comment (indeed, he could see my point) so why should you be? Finally, if you thought that I was out of line at the time then why not say something then - or at least call me a lumbering oaf to my face? Perhaps because you'd rather do so from the comfort of behind your keyboard? Very brave. You were rude and it was clear in the volunteers face that your tone was not appropriate, he looked rather hurt. Just goes to show that regardless of how cool any event is, there's always one that irritates! Brave? You're a seasoned member of this forum, if you wanted my personal details, you could go get them and if not, I'd be happy to supply. At the time however, my mission was to collect my photo and be a nice guy, which I'm good at. Try it sometime :)

You may have thought the photoshoot was excellent but you were downright rude to the poor volunteer guy when you collected your photo. He needed your ticket for his records, and your comment of "Oh and isn't the fact that I'm in the shot proof enough" was just poor class in my opinion. These people are volunteers, with instructions and people to answer to, they don't get paid to take crap from lumbering oafs such as yourself.

Hi there! Total newb here at the forum (but not at C events) Just got back from C12 today (Sat). Was a really nice feel to the whole event. Didn't have to get there mega early, just 9.00am. Only went down to see Jewel, George and Walter. Jewel was delightful to talk to and a very popular guest. No posed photos though. I didn't mind. Walter Koenig was really patient and gracious when my camera went off and he waited for me to reset. Nice guy. But George Takei, man what a Gent. Very rushed along because of volume but he managed a few words and a handshake even though he said he was rather pressured to speed up. He was really sincere and thanked me for coming. Yay! Bring on Collectormania Gmex! I can't wait. By the way, who is the dreaded JCB? Photos below...... Cheers, Steve :)

Three degrees and he doesn't put a capital letter at the beginning of his sentences. Also 'takeing' is spelled 'taking'. Spend less time arguing on boards and go back to school indio!

Hi guys I was due to come to C11 on the Sunday but due to family issues, I couldn't make it. Needless to say, I was gutted Both myself and my Mum (who is ace!) are big Superman fans. It's her birthday coming up and I wanted to get a signed Brandon shot for her birthday. Did anyone go to C11 and get any spare Brandon signed photos? I am prepared to pay a good price for your trouble. There is a nice guy called Robin selling one on Ebay right now, I could get that but it ends in 9 days. Mums birthday is this weekend....yikes! A long shot, I know. But if you can help me, that would rock. Hope you all had a good time! Steve :)
