  1. Only when possessed by her father. Otherwise she's one of the good guys.
  2. Oh, I hadn't seen the new costume design. Ugh. Definite do not want. Well, if you're going a hero one of the days, why not go a villain the other day?
  3. An idea being thrown around the cosplay thread was a meet up at Bohemian Rhapsody. I suspect that would need to be a later meeting type thing but it's an idea - tickets start at £6.50 so it's not too on the pricey side.
  4. Well, you've still got lots of time KunochiGeek, so if you change your mind at least there's enough leeway time to do so! Personally I'm with Brian on this - a Raven cosplay would be excellent (though considering the writing of the New 52 as to date maybe you should be glad she hasn't reappeared in the comics yet.)
  5. Wait what? I NEED TO GET ME TICKETS. ETA: Checked out the site. SO getting the tickets. Saturday afternoon methinks. Got to go check this Bohemian Rhapsody. OOoh, could maybe even test run Scara cosplay at it ... EATA: Also, the Red Special is one of the most epic guitars EVER
  6. @Captain_Sparrow Jealous! Would LOVE to meet the Hairy One! Even if he has gone totally grey lol. @vodkawrestling Wise words, my friend, wise words.
  7. She is indeed, Brian! One of my favourites just because so heavily into the music of Queen.
  8. So.... I've kind of sort of got another possible cosplay in the works. Just ordered a purple wig for it. Tis a theatre character, the great and awesome Scaramouche. I've wanted to try cosplaying as first outfit version of this character for a few years. Don't think I'll get the costume exact, but I can get as near enough to it as I can try. Not sure how wig styling will go so may be begging for help.
  9. Ahoy yourself! Just pulled the Ten suit out of the wardrobe and its going down for a wash to get the dust off it. Debating whether to clean the converse that go with it - dirty would be more Doctor like
  10. @StockingFairy I'd love to take part! ... ... Okay, so general question for the board. Since I'm accompanying a French Revolutionary, I promised I'd be a Doctor. But do I go for 10 - who is always greatly represented - or 9 - who I did last year and was a very comfortable cosplay indeed? Opinions?
  11. If you do come as Marius we are DEFINITELY building a barricade right across the middle of the room. I love standing on stuff. What is with all the barrica... who am I kidding. Time to practice Do You Hear the People Sing @Captain_Sparrow might need to nick your pistol here mate, barricades need weapons @wagitagi A Batman would be awesome .... also you're on the other side of the barricade
  12. @StockingFairy - wow that looks amazing! You've really done a brilliant job!
  13. @Captain_Sparrow Yeah, they'll be coming - they enjoy the convention and Brother Boy looks forward to that weekend every year. @wagitagi The Joker helicopter? I am both terrified and curious.
  14. @Captain_Sparrow Will you be going round singing I've got a jar of dirt? @wagitagi Like Brian said, whatever works best for you, especially if this is your first time out.
  15. @wagitagi That's brilliant that you know, good luck with the making! It would be awesome to have Jedi robes but when it comes to outer space my heart lies with the Time Lords. ... Maybe Gallifreyian robes?
  16. Sorry that I missed Glasgore! It does sound brilliant though; I'll need to try to get along for the next one!
  17. @wagitagi I'm sure that's going to look awesome on the day! I'll look forward to seeing it! @StockingFairy I think I'm going to have to agree with Brian here, PVC or pleather is going to be your best bet, though I'd maybe make the red lining a lighter, more breathable fabric. As awesome as you'll no doubtly look, we don't want you overheating and feeling ill, dear! I'm sure it's going to be brilliant!
  18. That would be all kinds of awesome to both! I'm just hoping the hall isn't as really ridiculously warm as it was last year...
  19. @DayoftheBread That would be an awesome cosplay indeed! Chatting with one of my friends who might try to make it up, and if she does, well depending on what her cosplay is, it might not be Wednesday Addams I go as but one of the many incarnations of the Doctor. Depending on her. Either way, we'll have a lot of fun!
  20. That would be interesting to get to. Will need to see about the getting there, but it might be doable. Might be able to make the Comic Mart but not the Quiz. Anyone going to the Comic Mart, out of curiosity?
  21. This would be brilliant, love to hear when we'd be able to do it!
  22. Hi peoples! @Kenny, I've been to Glasgow Comic Con the two times it's been done and ... I'll admit last year was a bit of a 'meh' about it all. It tends to be fun, but it is very heavily comic based, which is pretty damn cool really for finding indie comics, but not so cool for cosplayers. Unless you can pull off those characters. Which a lot of people can quite brilliantly, sooo, more power to them (Cool tattoo btw) @Grip That will be so cool to see your jedi cosplay! @Brian I don't think I managed to get a picture of your kick-ass zombie cosplay last year, Forever kicking myself for that. As for myself, well, I'm thinking of cosplaying as Wednesday Addams. Something a bit different from my usual Doctor Who stuffs.
  23. Hopefully going to be there! Making hesitant cosplay plans. They're creepy and they're kooky, y'see, and altogether ooky...
  24. Hi all! Well, only a few days to go and muggins here forgot all about her cosplay plans didn't she? I really ought to be better at this by now. Luckily, I had two sort of in reserve, so it's either going to be a camper from Camp Half-Blood, or the Ninth Doctor.
