Coucou !! Week-end vraiment génial, EXCELLENT !! J'ai vu Michael Shanks bien sûr vu que je venais spécialement pour lui et je m'en suis donné à coeur joie :lol!: J'ai aussi vu Jewel Staite, Peter Facinelli, Phelps twins, Justin Chon, Alex Meraz et... je crois que c'est tout ^^ Sinon j'ai tapé la discut' avec Alex, Justin, Jewel et Michael. Tous les quatre vraiment ADORABLES !! Je suis aux anges Je vous posterai mes photoshoots quand j'aurai pu les faire scanner et toi ? I'd also like to get VTs for Peter Facinelli's photoshoot as I'll only be able to take a pic with him on saturday due to a clash on the sunday. That's what scares me the most. My train arrives at 8:26am on the saturday at King's Cross St pancras. And that's the earliest I can get there. I have my Oyster Card for the underground already so I won't have to queue for an underground ticket ! Do you think it won't be too late for me to arrive at almost 9am ? I have early bird entry and I'm worried that I can't be there on time to grab VQ tickets and photoshoot tickets :s Do you have any idea of what I could do ? (Or I'll just have to hurry ^^)

Yay ! Careful with your budget ! I'd like to have my picture taken with Jewel Staite and a girl I met here on the forum. But it's gonna depend on the money I can afford to spend ! (same for her) But I really want to be alone in my pics with Michael That's so funny, a picture with a guest and a friend. It's a very good souvenir :) That's very cool. I guess your bravery was rewarded! I'd never have the guts to ask any of the guests if I could kiss him on the cheek Bravery, bravery... You could say that I guess When I asked him, I blushed ! It was so embarassing ! But he didn't seem to mind it and I got him to kiss me so no, I don't regret it and never will !! Maybe you can try with one guest at the con ! Wait the guest to hand over your signed pic/photo/... and when he does just ask him for a quick kiss on the cheek. If it works you'll be in heaven -just like how I was- and if he refuses (lots of people queuing, has a headache,...) you still have your autograph and you'll have nice things to remember anyway ! :) Let me know if you are planning to do it and with which guest so I can identify you if I see a girl receiving a kiss on the cheek and faint just after that !

I came to him, said hi, he asked me if I was ok and then he grabbed me and hugged me ! :wub: He smelled so good and he is such a nice guy, I'm so glad I met him. When I went to get my pic with him signed, we talked a bit (but I was too impressed by his beauty ! And I couldn't talk as much as I'd like). When my pic was signed, I asked him if I could kiss him on the cheek. He said yes, I kissed him and he kissed me back... Awwwwwwww !! One for now. Mr. Browder broke my budget last month. Bad, bad Mr. Browder ! But your pics were really cool so you don't regret it I guess !

You're quite right ! I hope we'll be able to seat next to each other at the Stargate talk, that could be really cool :) Ok, ok, I'll yell at you if I see you then ! But to be fair, here's a picture of me with Paul McGillion (what a cutie ! ). It was taken some years ago at my first con in France, it was reaaaaaaally cool ! :) I look a little different now, I'm all grown up But I'm sure you'll recognize me. BTW, how many photos are you gonna get with Michael ? I'll take two :) Wow Emmeh !! I love your photos with Peter !!! I want some like yours !! :)

I tell myself that almost everyone has a hobby that he/she spends money on, and conventions are mine. At the moment it's way cheaper than it used to be. The Pound/Euro conversation rate has changed quite a lot in favor of the Euro since I started going to events. Also I don't need that many autographs anymore and more concentrate on photo sessions now. The biggest chunk of money is of course the hotel. For the Collectormania events there's two really kind souls with very big hearts who are letting me crash at their place. Without them it would be one or even two events less a year. Thankfully I've been lucky with flight costs so far. My closest airport is Frankfurt with lots of international connections, so it's not that hard to find an affordable flight if I am a bit flexible with time. I have not one hobby, I have plenty ! And since I'm a student, I don't earn money during the year so I have to be really careful :) I have to prioritize, and I did with that convention ! :-D I'm just like you, I'd rather have a photo with a guest than an autograph ! If I could have both, I would of course ! I have spent £119 just for the train and the hotel ! Plus the tube, the food, photoshoots, some signatures, entries,... That's a lot of money ! But I'm so excited now that I don't care anymore ! I just want to go and enjoy it ! I'll worry about money another time ! That's really cool to have friends that can help you save some money and enjoy going to more conventions. I'd really like to make some kind people like that. Not to crash at their place ! But they seem really nice and it must be awesome to have that kind of connections Maybe we'll see each other now that I get to see your face ! x

Yes you do. And if you want the guest to sign the photo, you should go to the photoshoot on saturday and get it signed on sunday because of the time delay. The photos have to be printed after the photoshoot. Of course it depends on the guest you want to meet and the hour of his photoshoot ! Maybe you'll have time to go to the photoshoot, wait for your photo to come back and get it signed in the same day.

Yes, that's what I see with all these lovely pic :) You must spending a lot of money on these events, especially since you're from Germany, no ? I'm only starting the cons but I would love to meet as many guests as you did !

For me : £119 - Train there and back + one night at the hotel PAID £55 - Two early bird tickets + 2 photoshoot tickets with Michael Shanks PAID £05 - Tube £25 - Food £10 - Entry for the new Harry Potter movie on saturday night £80/100 - Photoshoots and signatures that I'm gonna buy on the day (approx.) Plus buying some stuff at the stalls maybe. Total - £294/314 Gosh, that's a lot !

I received everything this morning, I just hope I'll arrive soon enough on saturday morning to buy a ticket for a photoshoot with Peter Facinelli and Jewel Staite if they aren't sold out ! (I'm not excited at all lol )

I have one question too, to be well prepared for the first day ! :) Where exactly do we take our VQ tickets ? Also, is there a queue for each talk, like : - one queue for Stargate talk - one queue for Heroes talk - ... And same for the autographs and photoshoots tickets ? - one queue for Michael Shanks photoshoots VQ - one queue for Michael Shanks' autographs VQ I hope that I'm clear enough
