Lol, I guess you're right...but for me, it's just the same stuff repeated at home. I think that if you know it already, you shouldn't have to do it over and over, but I understand that that works best for some people.

Yay! Well, I'm almost done with my homework, I don't get the whole concept of HW, really...they make us sit in a classroom and learn for hours and hours, and then when you get home, more work!

Today was such a busy day...so much homework...ugh.

I have a big test today, and I won't be home until about 4:30, most likely...I just wrote a one shot over at HPFF, and another chapter. I have a long list of stories that I promised to review, and beta. I'm writing a novel and I'm trying to write 3 pages every day so that I stay on track...it's getting a little hectic

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been posting around a lot lately...my life has been really hectic . Today I haven't been home since 7:30 a.m., and now it's 7:40 p.m. How are you all doing?

The novel is about middle school girls, cliques, backstabbing, etc. It also shows how everything changes, like one year a girl can be popular, and the next she's a nerd.

Hehe, I forgot to say about myself... My name is Lisa, and I am 12 years old. I've been writing fanfiction since last December, so I guess I'm relatively new to all this. I love fanfiction, but I'm also writing a novel, which I'm currently 2 1/2 chapters into. Um...what else to say...I like to sing and act, I guess I like anything where I can express myself. That's basically it; me in a nutshell How about you? Don't be shy, we want to know you!

Exactly! I wouldn't want people to vote for me just because I was their friend. I've told people that the voting was open, and I did tell them which stories were mine, but they didn't all vote for me! I don't think my stories are the best on here, but it would be really nice to win something. That doesn't mean I'm going to abuse the system...I went into this to have fun, and I intend to come out of this contest in a good mood, whether I win or lose.

I understand your anger, really, I do. I can see why you would feel this way, sort of like the newbies are taking over and it's not fair. I just want you to know that we really don't mean any harm, and we entered this contest just for fun. At least I did, and I don't want to cause any trouble.

I'm sorry, Evie_Nitram I did read the stories, but the threads are closed now! I think some of the stories that you guys have posted are amazing. Since the threads are closed, would you like me to comment on them here? I'd be perfectly willing to :)

But it's not about popularity. It's about the fic itself- there is a poll that has two of my entries, and one has 1 vote, and the other has 8. I thought this was about the story, not the author.

I disagree, I'm sorry that you took me the wrong way People told me about this competition, so I joined. Now I know that this is an awesome site, and I definitely will be posting here in the future! It's not like I'm going to leave right after this competition is over, I like it here. The only reason why I haven't been posting much is just because I don't have the time- I have been anxious to explore the site, but it's frustrating for me that I don't even have time to do my homework. As for the comment about travel- I didn't mean it that way, I didn't mean that I would win. I just thought that if there was no way I could get there, then shouldn't I withdraw my entries? I was just asking to see, because it would be hard for me to get the money. I probably won't win, since all of the older members do have excellent stories. I read most of them today and yesterday, since it's the weekend and I've had time. I'd definitely reply to them with comments, but I believe that the threads are closed.

They're all up now EDIT: this isn't really a question about voting, but I was wondering, if I don't live near England, does the contest pay for a plane ticket? If I won (which I probably wouldn't) I'd probably be able to find a way to pay, but I was just wondering.
