Scutter - I guess as no one has responded yet either way, but I will just mention that at Collectormania GMEX there was an 'armoury' type of stand with all styles of film prop only weaponary, guns, swords, etc. We also met on our stand a gent who let us loan his stormtrooper E-11 blaster for the day - which was a moded Sterling original gun (and boy was it heavy!). He had even converted it with a green laser fitted in the barrel - wow - that was cool (but the beam was very hot and not to be shone in the eyes of course!!) While carrying our lightsabers in 'rifle style' pouches!! we were quite worried that the police might stop us outside as we walked down...but then we would have duelled them anyways... If thats any use? Would be cool to see you there with all the gear - we have a load of Stargate fans on our board too - despite the Rebel bias - so we would love it!

Ash - costume is optional! I would say if anything we will be much outnumbered (but not outgunned!). You would be more than welcome to come and take pictures - we will have a stand there - look out for the FanForce and Rebel Legion stand and there will we be...lightsabers, blasters and all! There will be a Darth Vader, Biker Scout, Jedi and many others at our stand....come and join the fun!

Hi Andy - that could be an interesting handshake...lol Nah - sadly I cant make it to CM9, but a lot of my friends are going there from the FanForce boards...dont think they will be in costume though... ..it was a bit cold queueing outside for GMEX, but hey - we are hardy people eh up Norf? (I cheated and just put my robe up - thats what its for anyway isnt it? lol) Thats the fun part of it! Then put on your costume running shoes for the VTs queue! TBH it all worked out very well at the GMEX- I was very impressed with the whole event and how smoothly it seemed to go from what I saw. Go for the Stargate cossie at LFCC though - they were great at GMEX!
