  1. most of the time if I'm not paying for an auto I go up with an friend take pics for them and if there is time get one with the guest as well.
  2. Sorry to quote u but u do seem to question a lot of what happens on here. Why do u assume it would be a week in advance? I'm assuming you're not involved with any of what she's working in so ur knowledge of her business would be NONE, right? ... it's not good saying that, we're given the information as soon as possible. from what I know of filming scedelcers (sp) they always plan at least one week in advance where they are filming etc. Also David I was not directing the question at you. I wondered if someone from showmasters could answer me and as I have said many times before I'm beginning to lose faith with them. This is why I said it.
  3. The doors opened & tickets started well before that! sorry I think I put it wrong what I meant to say was that it was meant to open that time. In fact people started getting tickets about 8.30 I think.
  4. why are so many guests been cancelling it's so sad. Such last mintue notice many people are now unable to cancel they own hotel etc. Is there an reason why we did not know until last night. I would of though Miranda would have her scendla sorted at least an week in advance. I'm sure she would have had to set off on the thursday.
  5. there will be people who turn up at 6am though even though I'm going to and you have to remember these people will be in front of you in the queue. It all depends who you want to met if it's billy I recomman about Between 9 and 8.30
  6. I thought it was an spelling mistake and it meant to say gold. I didn't seem to be much in it though as it might jump the queues but it said nothing about free auto's or anything else.
  7. try premiere lodge I think they have room left.
  8. is no chance you can get an train or an coach?
  9. I just called showmasters asking about the party tickets. They said they have sent them all out recorded deliverly and we should be recieving them friday or saturday.
  10. I just called showmasters asking about the party tickets. They said they have sent them all out recorded deliverly and we should be recieving them friday or saturday.
  11. i actually can't agree with locking it. i think, if it were left open until after c6, you could possibly also let us know showmaster's response. i'm curious as well, however, i am quite willing to take their word that they had a contract. i'd still like to know, however, the answer you recieve. yeah sure keep it open then It might disappear though and people might not notice if I put the responce up but I will ask them.
  12. David can you lock this please I will ask showmasters to there face. I want them to explain the Billy thing as well.
  13. to be honest, though, you're similar to rowan - you still refuse to believe that they might be honest. they have stated they had a contract. yet you say that you don't believe this. why ask, if you won't believe them? and why ask, without giving the whole of the information you have, then demand full information in return? hypocrisy is not something i like, but this is going too far. and if what i'm saying is offensive to you, i'm sorry - i don't mean it to be. i'm simply stating my thoughts. They only talked about the 3 hobbits but the whole thing I am getting at is do they accounce before getting signed contracts and at what point do they get them. Proof was that they never had one with Billy before accounced him and that was on Billy's website his offical one around c4. I want to know why they don't answer me. That's not so hard to ask most places are proud to say of course we never accounce without signed contracts in our hands.
  14. I didn't start the thread because of the wolf thing I asked this question about an month ago I just though this time I would get an answer. I was going to mention the fact that Billy had to accounce on his website that he had never agreed to appear at C4. This will have meant that he never did sign an contract so theirfore they accounced him before confirmation. This is one item that everyone knows of. Maybe this is one reason showmasters still have not answered my question. I think I may need to talk to them at C6. As they entered the thread I created I noticed they answered Rowan not me. I don't want to get upset at them but I feel like they will only answer me if I start to act like Rowan and I'm not that type of person.
  15. my threads all smelly now. Not nice *hand over nose* Now everyone has to leave to due to smell.
  16. What is your problem?!? You seem to just jump from one thing to the next and it is getting really tiresome. We WERE incredibly pleased that the Hobbits made it to C4, as technically they had work commitments that were moved at the last minute to conflict with C4. Originally they were free to attend the show, as their New York press conference was 2 weeks before. That then got moved to the week before, finishing on the first day of C4, with them still in NY! They could very easily have not come, as there responsibility to New Line and the press conference took precedence. However, they so wanted to meet all their fans that they got straight on a plane, flew to London, drove to a hotel, slept for an hour, and then appeared on stage! Is that going beyond the call of duty and any contract? Yes. Are we pleased that they cared so much and did actually turn up? Yes. Did they do it? Yes. We have to look after the majority of the fans, and Rowan, if you want us to jump through all your hoops and explain every contract and every situation with the hundreds of actors we have dealt with in the last few years, you have another thing coming. Apart from the fact that we do not have time, we are running one of the largest events in the world in less than 2 weeks time, and really have better things to do than constantly answer all your queries. We have to look after the people who are going to appreciate what we are doing, and it seems you will never fall into this category! We are now going to get on with our work, running the event, rather than just pandering to your accusations. I don't see you giving Wolf a hard time on their forum, and they are the ones who seem to deserve it, having acted unprofessionally, deleting posts, (including Chris' statement), and not letting anyone discuss anything they don't want seen. Enough is enough, we're going back to work. Think waht you want to think. It appears you will anyway. Showmasters P.S. And before you jump on the fact that nowhere there did we say whether we had a written contract with the Hobbits, we would just like to say in words of plain English that anyone can understand . . "Yes we did"! thank you for the answer but it seemed more headed to rowan than myself and still leaves a lot of my questions un answered. Don't jump on me I just want answers and I feel like many people the right to answers which lately you have not been giving. As you can tell I've been an member for a long time coming here since C3 I know a lot of the forum people here personally. At this moment I think you are forgetting we like your events we like going. I don't think you are treating us rightly. People ask questions here which you do not answer you let people run riot here not caring what happens. It's not just silly questions for sometime the question about an cancelled guest was up and no one answered it which I think is very rude. You have talked about the hobbits contact which is fine but still not answered my question on the fact of have you got contacts signed with other guests and at what point did you have them signed. Oh and question for an long time ago did Karl ever have an signed contract? if u wanna get like that hobbit lover i suggest you take urself over to the Wolf boards !! seems you have something in common with its members questioning showmasters every action lately.!!! I don't think people understand me right I use to really support showmasters but they are making them selves look bad not me. I looked on the wolf boards but it's just repeating things again and again I want answers to the question on here not over there. They need to take on board what people say and answer them not pretend the questions aren't here. I should not have to worship at there feet to get answers I'm an paying customer. I saw all the hobbits so I have no problem with missing out on guests like that. With less than 2 weeks to go before a very large and busy convention - do YOU think YOU would have the time to drop everything just to answer 1 persons question..i think not !! the first time I asked this question must have been at least an month ago and there are other questions they don't answer.
  17. David don't bite my head off I've asked this question for a long time now and you know I have they just don't seem to want to answer it which is why I'm getting worried. When there was question about Corni contract I believe for C3 they scanned in his signture to prove it. I don't expect that but I'm just saying they don't want to answer questions that are important any more. You should not be the one that has to stick up for them David they should do that I'm not here to have an go at you. You get an lot of bad stuff said to you which is not on I want the answers from the only people that do know.

  20. it was an long time ago so I can't quoto the words excatly but it was something like we were so glad the hobbits came they told us not to worry as they word was what mattered as we had not got signed contract from them. Oh and it was from showmasters on the forum I wish I had copied it or screen capped the page. I have asked the signed contract question many times and still I get no answers. It and gets me worry more and more. I want to believe showmasters but the more they don't answer the more I distrust them. Most people would say of course we have but they have not. It seems all the fans are trying to believe in them as well as me by answering. They didn't even answer the question about an cancelled guest and that was up for over an week and no accounment was made. i've noticed that SM don't discuss contracts, at least on the forum. they may also have other reasons for not wishing to discuss this particular topic. however, i personally doubt that SM would have announced the hobbits without some form of assurances from them - they have said so far that they never announce guests without a contract. its also possible that it started as a rumour, possibly malicious, to say that showmasters are untrustworthy. have you emailed them on it? yeah they never replied to my email. I want to trust them they have brought so many guests that I loved meeting I think it's great that I started going to their events. It's just lots of people ask questions important ones and they never get answered. I just think this is really weird. I kind of feel they are forgetting about us lot on the forum now when it was so much fun last year.
  21. I know what you mean but the problem still remains why do they never reply to my question. If they were so proud that they never did this then they would reply. Maybe it's all verbal but I would still not confirm on that and I think sm do.

  23. At what point to sm have signed contracts? Have they got them for all guests now?
