There is a 80's tardis console room set that has made an appearnce at Dr Who conventions over the years would there be any interest in having it for comic con or collectormania Does any know who to contact to get hold of this set? Tardis Console

So what you guys are saying is you'd all be interested in Mr. Christopher Lee that's quite a list he just topped would you all be as keen if he came to do a talk or give a reading? i know i'd love to hear him read an exert from LOTR he has such a great voice!! he also has arthritis and a prolonged signing could very well be painful and he might like opportunity to share his appreciation of Tolkien though some of us would happily hear him recite names from the yellow pages!:-) but i would like his appearance to be as much pleasure for him ...limiting his signings might not be such a bad trade off quality for quantity, then i'd be happy to just to meet him and shake hand like a royal visit

Is it possible to extend future Collectormanias to a five or even 7 day event this could give guests greater flexibility to attend with more guests coming and going during the course of the event What do people think would you be interested in a prolonged experience? what problems do you foresee with stalls etc...? how can these problems be resolved?

What would you like to see by way of Special Event?

....oh i don't know you try to be positive... my expectations and what im seeing here are worlds apart i and i have my doubts too and i think that announcement shouldn't have been made if they couldn't pull it off but we've all seen some strange things happen at the 11th hour with these guys about Special Events and industry representation there should have been some hints by now i know and i should think industry representation is probably 20th century Fox or Warners with trailers as at LFCC2 and C7 (incidentally does anyone know what happened about the cars at the party)? collectormania always seems to make LFCC look the poor relation in terms guests events and access & the party has to be praised for its erosion of the "US & THEM" mentality ohh i dont work for showmasters by the way honest

No it is a good line up and there is no need to panic showmasters usually comes through!! and there is plenty of time for guest and special event announcements. Anyone who went to the first LFCC last march will know just how good they can be and that's part of trouble Showmasters have set them selves up for attack by promising so much expectations are so high maybe they can only disappoint however good the line up is. We've come expect SM to out do previous events and they haven't yet but have faith i'm sure it'll rock! remember the announcement: LONDON FILM AND COMIC CON Firstly, we have made some major changes to London Film and Comic Con. a BBC cast reunion would be great and i think there'd great interest in the new Adaptation too plus i'd love to see WETA WORKSHOP represented at either C8 or LFCC and i'd definitely go to a richard taylor talk who wouldn't

I would love to meet a vogon though its probably not so practical... as an artist myself love to see the creature shop represented personally i'd be happy to fill in the necessary request forms (in triplicate no less)!!! cough brian henson cough fr ank oz cough other industry professioals like stan winston Rick (American Werewolf In London)Baker, Tom Savini and dr who's mike tucker some props and aliens and monsters from the new doctor who would be made to feel very welcome too im just babling now but if its not impossible the tardis set new or old either would keep me happy for an hour who else like to see make-up demos?
