Agree with KiKi, Have been to all the collectormanias in Milton Keynes and up until this event have thought it was well organised and promoted. Now I just feel they are trying to make as much money as possible and expand, while at the same time seriously lacking in what they are providing us. It's not a charity and we spend a serious amount on these events, the least they can do is give us some guests and dates to work with and help plan, it's 4weeks away and only a third of the guests have been announced and they have cancelled the Thur, I feel very sorry for all the people who have paid for a hotel on the wed night. I undertand that they are working with schedules etc but come on this is the worst I have seen it organised yet.

yeah i know! hard 2 kno whether 2 book a hotel or not, save etc witout even 1 guest lineup so far.

now that there are events with those films in mind does this mean that collectormania will no longer get star wars or lotr guests?

was watching that charity car boot thing last night where tv ppl sell off their old props etc. Dawn French was selling her personalised auto for £4 including pic. showmasters should so get her if that is what she charges. c'mon WAAAYYYY better than some of the other peeps announced so far.

The goo goo dolls!!!! would love to meet them and i know they do alot of autographs and are into meeting fans plus Robby has just done a con in the US, they also comin back to the Uk

what would stop 1 person buying the disc and putting all the photos on the net 4every body else? great idea as can never hav too many photos but just think people will post them on net for free

just phoned up and got 2 rooms in the travel lodge on the sun night. so they still have rooms available depending on what days your going.

i checked the site and it says rooms are available. so i'm guessing they have rooms

would like to stay over for this event but want a hotel within easy walking distance. the travel inn is booked up, just wandered if anyone could tell me whether the travel lodge is actually within walking distance? thanks alot 4any help!

with the empire day con, does this now mean that all the sw guests will go there and not to collectormania in future?. although i guess that will happen alot now with all the different events that showmasters run, so they will have to split the popular guests between all the events where as in the past they only had to cater for 2 events so we had a much better line up of bigger guests at collectormania.

just wandered which ones showmasters were refering to about the guests who havent done a con before?
