1. Just realised there are quite a few titanic connections at the event: Milvena Dean of course, but also Honor Blackman and Derren Nesbitt both appeared in the 1958 film about the Titanic, A Night To Remember.
2. Think it would be great if there could be some photos of Daragh from Withnail and I. One of the funniest films ever!
3. Mat Irvine is something of a legend in sci fi circles; he was special efffects designer on Blakes Seven and also on Dr Who (I think around the time of Mary Tamm) . I may be wrong but I also think he might have designed the face-hugger in Alien which John Hurt will remember fondly!
4. George also had a leading role in one of the greatest British films ever made: GET CARTER which of course starred Michael Caine
5. Hi Aitch Great to have you on the forum. I think the photo is from Dr Who and the Face of Evil (I was seven when I first saw it in 1977). It was Louise Jamesons first story and also starred Leslie Scofield and Lloyd McGuire. I'm a huge sci fi fan and you were in one of the best British sci fi films Quatermass and the Pit, its one of my favourites, I'll watch it again and look out for you. Did you ever manage to get Basil Fawlty out of the basket??! Great episode, the Kipper and the Corpse. Good luck, Steve.
6. Wouldnt it be amazing if they could get Jonathan Scott Taylor: Two Damiens together!! Sam Neill (not likely, but we can dream) Martin Benson (Good Bond guest as well) David Warner Billie Whitelaw?
7. Just realised: Not only was Richard Dreyfuss in Close Encounters but Lance Henriksen and Carl Weathers were in it as well. Now we need Teri Garr!
8. Great guest. As a horror fan I'd love to get him on a shot from Omen 2. Very sinister in that film was Lance! The time is coming for you to put away childish things and face up to who you are . . .
9. In agreement, would love to add Glynn Edwards to Dennis and George. Not just for Dave the Barman but he was in Get Carter, Zulu etc. Also could be considered a horror reunion as both Dennis and George appeared in Hammer movies and Glynn was in a few Brit horrors too. Also George for Flash Harry and The Green Man.
10. I mentioned in an earlier thread that I think it would also be good if Martin Benson could come: he had quite an important role in the Omen and he would appeal to Bond fans as well as he was in Goldfinger. How about HARVEY, MARTIN, DAVID AND BILLIE WHITELAW FOR AN OMEN REUNION!!
11. In my eyes he is a poor guest..... 869313 Perhaps your eyes were pecked out by Damien's raven????
12. Ah, the old "photo on a website" ..... concrete proof in itself ! 869304 I believe that when he played Damien he actually had blonde hair which was dyed black for the film. He should be 35 now. We can always check for the 666 on his scalp if anyone is brave enough!
13. For collectors of Horror autographs this is a superb announcement.I have been trying to source this auto for 6 years without success. I have a photo from the Omen of Lee Remick holding Damien which was signed by her a few years ago. I never thought I would ever have the chance of getting Harvey to sign it too. Thanks to Dave and everyone connected witht the show!!!!!
14. Well I think we're all agreed it's one of three: HARVEY STEPHENS JONATHAN SCOTT TAYLOR SAM NEILL Here's my (possibly) final guess The clues are all related to The original Omen The three wheels for the trike and THE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I think if it was Sam they'd be mentioning dinosaurs etc so I'm going for HARVEY.
15. Yea, If it was or is Sam I thought they'd have been pushing Jurassic rather than Omen. Omen3 isn't in the same league as the first Omen.
16. Sorry if I missed your post re Sam Neill: Only real reason I'm favouring Harvey would be the three wheels on my wagon reference which is from the original Omen. The YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED is from the original Omen movie and was on all the posters for The Omen. Also Sam is better known for Jurassic Park rather than the Omen and surely the Autographica website would have wanted to plug Jurassic more than the Omen? Also Dave referred to the film as a real classic: The Omen is definately a classic but Omen 3 Final Conflict I have to say wasn't and has received only average reviews. Well we will see tonight.
17. Just putting my final ideas together I still think it's Harvey Stephens: The two big clues being: Three wheels on my wagon (riding his trike in the Omen) You have been warned (the line on all the original Omen movie posters) Also all of Dave's religous references as well ( beg forgiveness etc) But I'll hedge my bets a little and suggest the adult version of Damien: SAM NEILL What a guest he'd be! But I'd be more than pleased with Harvey.
18. And Martin Benson too, not just for the Omen but GOLDFINGER too!!
19. and showmaster Jason? 867651 Can't argue with you Mick. Jason's done a great job too. I HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! Let him that hath undertanding count the number of the beast . . .
20. I guess everybody is entitled to their views: However for people who are fans of classic horror, and I mean classic, the Omen is a legendary film. Harvey Stephens is a non existant horror autograph for collectors and if the guest is indeed Harvey then rather than a let down I think it would be an amazing announcement. I think the guest list that Dave and Garry are putting together is nothing short of outstanding.
21. Dufresne is right: Look at the Autographica website: It says YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. This is the line on all the original Omen posterS when the movie first came out nearly 30 years ago. Greg Peck and Lee Remick are dead, as is Pat Troughton, David Warner has done signings before. it must BE HARVEY STEPHENS 666!!!!!!!!!!!! The ANTI CHRIST IS AMONG US!
